Tonight was the Psi Chi induction. went through the "rituals" and now i'm a life time member of the National Psychology Honor Society. An added bonus is that I'm also now the VP of the school's chapter. Don't know how it happend but it did. so, woot! i guess. *shrugs*

Screw'd Up Again

It was brought to my attention today that an intent to graduate form has to be filled out a year prior to graduation instead of a semester. I don't recall filling one out last time i was in my advisors office. Nor do i recall him mentioning anything about the intent form. So if i have screw'd my degree plan up i will have to stay in school another whole year. I'll find out for sure tomorrow when i meet with my advisor. But knowing me, an intent form probably wasn't filled out. so, craptastic. I always screw crap up. can't help it. i will forever be a slow, pathetic, waste of time and space. grrrr.

The new COD4 maps are fun to play. My life expectancy in Creek is the shortest in any map. i can't get to a good hidey-hole fast enough.

There's a Career Fair Wed. that i plan to go to. Not looking for a job, but just trying to see what's out there. Cuz if i don't pull off a B in stats, no grad school for me. But then again if i have to wait another 2 semesters to graduate i can take it again and get a better grade.

Joe Bob Briggs

I remember back in my younger insomina years when a fella could stay up late with the company of Monstervison with Joe Bob Briggs on TNT. whatever happened to that? and Joe Bob where are you now? The best part of the show (i thought) was that all the letters sent in were from prisoners and they were mainly addressed at his sexy sidekick. Oh! and i almost forgot the Caption This weekly contest. that was some good ol' times.

Tornado sirens went off during class today. But no one knew what to do or where to go. After a while the dean of the grad school (my class was in the same building as it but i'm not a grad student) came around and told us to head to the basement. Where we then still proceded to have our lecture. It wasn't bad, it was we just got a bunch of funny looks from everyone walking by. *shrugs*

Next week is spring break. So that means work work work and turning bulls into steers. just like i do every year. maybe i'll get some funny "how a cow beat me" stories. we'll see.

Snow Day!

I stayed up till 12:30 last night hoping to see it snow some. nothing happened then, and it was still 50 something degrees. i wake up this morning to 7 - 8 inches of snow, 27 degrees, and classess cancelled. awesome! hehehehehehehe.

The Foo Fighter concert last friday night was awesome! We had a little mix up with the seating. apparently the people infront of us were on the row we were suppose to be on, which threw everyone else off. But who are the only ones to get yelled at? that's right, us. Lucky for us there was an usher nearby to sort it out. Then a good time was had by all.

I wish i could find the Army Surplus stores around here. I would really like to get my hands on some MRE's and then eat them. Mmmm.

What Grinds My Gears

Ya know what grinds my gears. LAG!!! I sit in a building seeing a bleep on the radar. wait till the unsuspecting victum pops their head around the corner to shoot 'em, but does that happen. No it certainly does not. i end up waiting, then next thing i know i'm dead without any warning. What happens is as i see it in the after the instant kill cam. They pop around the corner, see me, shoot, miss a bunch, then they notice i'm just sitting there, they then procceed to walk up to me then knife me and i'm dead.

another scenario: i followed a guy for a minute from behind knife attacking as much as i could. nothing happend. then he finnaly turns around knifes me and then i'm dead. The whole horrible part about watching that recap cam view was to watch the person wander around aimlessly then kill me. what the heck xbox live? what the heck? i guess more so it's; what the heck Suddenlink cable internet? and my darn addiction to leveling up.

Happy Valentines Day

Indeed it is. the girlfriend got me The Orange Box for V-day. woot! she is sooo sweet.

But unfortunatly i can't play till after friday. when my final and last tests for this week are through. who knows, maybe i'll get studying done early this evening and play a little. *hoping!!!*

besides working on the ol' farm i've got the weekend free to play video games.

Girlfriend saves the Xbox

While the girlfriend was over at the apartment eating dinner with me yesterday evening a thunderstorm hit. It sounded like lighting was striking pretty close. The lights flickered and my first reaction was to unplug the comp so it doesn't get fried. The first thing she did was unplug my Xbox. I love that woman!

I meant to play some Rock Band with a friend of mine this weekend. but i didn't get around to it. stupid homework. Though, we did watch War. I thought it was a really good movie. I can usually tell how a movie is gonna go but this one i really didn't see the twist comming.

As i type in this blog entry and see the airsoft gun add i'm reminded of when i use to play paintball. Especially the time i got a tree limb stuck down the back of my cover-alls as i was diving for the base of the tree to get undercover from the hailstorm of paintball fire that was comming at me at the time. As i was stuck i couldn't stand up and call out, so i just flopped there as they just kept shooting. good memories.

blame the weather

it was fun to see a little snow last week. now it's back to the 70 degree weather. That's the funny thing about living here, it could be below freezing one day then sunny and warm the next.

The Foo Fighter concert is back on for the 29th. Woohoo! which is on a friday, but i don't get to sleep in on saturday morning for i have to work the feedmill and farm.

I been playing quite a few games with my new found clan members and it has really been alot of fun!

I'm not so sure how my AB Psyc class is gonna turn out. the teacher talks about the same things everyday, the test for next week covers 7 chapters. which is nothing really, but there isn't any structure to the class and that bugs the heck out o' me.

Since this is my second to last semester i really should start looking into grad school stuff. i'm not sure if i really want to do any grad yet but it would be better than just having a BS in Psyc. in which all the jobs that go along with a degree like that require either a masters or a doctorate. i dunno. anyhoo.

Come on snow day!

Its snowing here in Russvegas! woohoo! maybe they will cancel classes tomorrow.

Things i've accomplished so far today: added most of the Low Roller clan to my friend list, level'd up on COD4, got most of my school work done. overall it was a pretty productive day. now just gotta figure out what i want for dinner.

SO i guess after i eat, watch the new Lost season premier, and wash dishes i'll be back to playing cuz i've got a night with NO homework! buwahaha!
