B4 Weekend Update

Yes I know I said I would not blog or I was going to blog less. Well here is a run down of what is going on. Lets start on the home front then move to video game related discussions.

Home Front:

Well I taught my wife how to use Half.com and she is now posting movies. I think she likes, but she is just learning and will give her something to do during the day. Last night we took our first walk as a family around the block. Tomorrow is the county fair and will be supporting a 2o4D hat for being the posting whore that I am. It is also so cute that my Daughter knows what blockbuster is and lets us know that she gets a princess movie after mommy's movie day. So when she said that it means on what little off time I get I need to start looking into a program for her since he is about to be 4 in October. Oh yeah I got an e-mail yesterday and I won a year's worth of XBOX Live. I placed 8th in a drawing and got that cool prize.

Site Front:

Thank you Ceasar for doing the Mini Me League. I am a GM, but don't HALO. Yes I know people will question why is someone that does not have the game able to be a GM. Well cause it just works that way. Do I know the skill's of everyone. Nope, but I do know that no matter who I pick and trade out and in for my team will be good. Good enough to win will decide on how bad they want to win. Also at 2o4D we are starting the 2nd Annual Fantasy Football League. Is it over rated? Probably, but it will get some of us together and be fun for all that does play. As for other site related stuff I have got something in the works for the front page, but will leave that under wraps till it is unveiled down the road with the major help of CodeMonkey. With all that is going on I am glad for the delay. It will help me on later down the road.

Game Front:

Well in the next few weeks I have gotten to be a busy little beaver and just been chopping down the cyber tree's for more cyber paper. With all that is out look for some hit titles to come out. One that is going to be under wraps till later in the year is an Alien game that is coming out by Obsidian. Your like who is that and it is from the makers of Alpha-protocol. With the action packed fall line up about to start hitting us. I fear for gamers this year more than last. Last year I would call it a lul year with only two major titles that came out. This year several AAA titles are fighting for a spot to be king of the year. With all that goes on this fall member family first. So go break open a Pinata now.

Uh

  Well this half of the week.  With the family back it is time to spend more time that way.  Then I also have a few other side projects that I am trying to get completed by next weekend or at least get them out.  Have a good night y'all.  Oh yeah and don't forget people speaking fantasy football right now and looks like it will be a busy season for some people. 

Interesting

   Well I thought about showing a double post and oh well I made that one yesterday and today is a new day for a post.  Real reason for post now.

   How many people read wired?  Do you read if?  Have you eer read it?  Well I took a gander at this magazine yesterday for the first time since someone told me about it a few months ago. (CM) In the August 2008 issue there is something on Twitter which looked to be a good article.  Any one have a scanned copy of this article or anything.  I checked out one of the cards for magazine subscriptions and 8 dollars for a whole year does not sound bad in my mind.  Might have to go and snag one of those cards if I ever go back to Wally World.

This and that

Well with this and that going on I wont be playing on line since the family is back.  So the Lan is going on in a few weeks and time to start getting my skillz up cause I kinda suck at most of the COD 4 and Civ Rev stuff.  

Family is well and got back late last night.  This weekend we will be going to the 4H county fair in elkhart county.  I hope to get some pictures of the demolition derby that is going to take place at 8 pm EST.  Should be fun for the whole family. 

 Yes I changed my background only cause a Viva Pinta: Trouble in Paradise could not fit the wallpaper requirments.  Not sure, but I just felt in a platformer mood and Legendary would not fit which I really wanted to put up.  With all my talk about Mavel I went and looked at My Marvel cards.  I have 94, 95, and 96 Editions of marvel and also Marvl VS and a few DC VS Series.  That and found my deck of Marvel Playing cards when I pre-ordered MUA when it first came out back in 2006 from Game Crazy. 

I am a big fan of tattoo's as some of you may or may not know.  I hope to post mine up one of these days before the LAN.  Have a good night.
