Double post....see how much I care.

First off this is just a glimpse into my mind…it’s not something people normally get or when they do, it’s not something they like to see. A jumble of thoughts without order, without reason, then sometimes thoughts just click together.  Read into it, or don’t.

What it means to me doesn't matter, what matters is what it means to the person reading it.....but after I read it over again it does sound like a Moody Blues song intro...

This is me, well, me trapped inside Microsoft's fun house that is NXE. This morning, Microsoft released their new dashboard. It is mostly a cosmetic and organizational update, but one cool feature is a wii'like avatar system. Now, to be fair, this looks nothing like me. I only had a few minutes with it and I'm always horrible at these character creation tools. I definitely have less hair than that

One thing I'm concerned with is: How am I supposed to appear like a pwnage machine when people can just look and see that I'm just a tall white skinny dude. Oh well.

They need to make a game where you fly around these hijacked tankers on a helicopter and snipe these fucking pirates right off the deck of the ship. I am so sick of hearing about these cocksuckers.  The next ship that gets hijacked, they should just nuke it. Then I bet no more ships would be hijacked.

How much of a lowlife asshole do you have to be to be a pirate? Who are these fuckers? I need more information to fuel my hatred. And then I want to snipe them from a chopper or light them on fire with a flamethrower. Fucking leeches.

I don't know if it was the fact that everyone was downloading it, or if there are just a few bugs in the system yet but I keep getting little pop-up errors, they don't appear to stop anything, you just hit 'A' and go one with what you were doing....is this just me or has anyone else run into this?

Also we were trying to link up our netflix account only to be told every single time that the code we entered was invalid....

Please tell me we arent' the only ones running into this.

So, today is the day.  This is the very reason, well, one of them, that I didn't want to go to permanent full time.  It's called "late nurse".  The late nurse is the last nurse standing, when everyone else, including patients, have gone home.  This could be anywhere from 6:00 to 9:00.  I am already late every night!  But, I will be later tonite.

My daughter called yesterday.  She and family were invited to the in-laws for Thanksgiving in Wilmington, better known as the beach.  Tempting, yes, but we had already talked cuz we knew this would happen, and she told them she was already committed to coming to my house.  So, they are coming here.  That adds 3 more to the table, which makes 9.  I hate odd numbers.  You sure you can't make it, Brian?  Dinner is at 5:00.  There's good and bad about this.  Good:  not as many leftovers.  Bad:  Eek!  I hafta clean the house!!!!  Since hubby has been househusband, housecleaning has gone down the tubes.  He likes to watch TV, piddle around in the yard, go shopping (every day!) and take naps.  Housecleaning is not on his to do list.  And, it really isn't on mine either.....  I have absolutely NO TIME during the week, and weekends are sooooo short.  But, this weekend will be spent making the house look respectable, at least.  Blah.....

Trust me - it's silly, but it's a blast!

Yesterday I was returning a movie after hitting up the post office.  So while in the movie place I picked up Wall-E for my daughter.  Walking by the 360 games like normal I notice Legendary sitting on the shelf still.  My craving was about to take over and get this game, but I hurried up and checked out.  So I just hope they have it next time I go there since they only got two copies.  My daughter is getting Lips today after I leave work and boy am I going to need ear plugs.  Lets just say she likes to sing all day and night if she could.  Who knows I might get tricked into playing the game if it is a country song.  I just won't be taped doing this though.

Today will be a glorious day for 360 owners.  We got the new NXe update for all, but then we also get this great XBLA game called A Kingdom for Keflings on the marketplace.  So last night was the launch party on Xbox.com where prizes were handed out and questions to the Ninjabee team were also asked.  So with that being said it was good till I went to bed.  With people like Jigsaw showing up it was good to see older gamers I knew there. 

With things going like they are people are proud of what they do and become.  Sacrifice only comes at a price that can be handled by only one person.  With the formention of handeling and the contrast of lost we learn.  Do we always find what we need at the start or at the end.  But one things is forcertain that we have not gained till we lost or lost anything till we can gain something.  When gain has over come that means you have not lost unless you lost an gained to fill the void of lost.  If you have finished something have you completed all or are you just waiting to start to get you by. 

I really should blame myself for rolling the dice again.

2 years ago I preordered Gears and got the call only to show up and it not be there. They had some shipping fuck up and I got it 2 days later.

Tonight it is Left 4 Dead. Got my call yesterday and showed up today only to find that they had yet another warehouse issue and I might have it tomorrow. I honestly know better, and have no idea why I even bother with pre ordering anymore. There is no fucking benefit at all, and I won't get anything out of this other than a "sorry". The guy that runs and owns the one I go to is awesome and I can tell he felt shitty about it, obviously it is not his fault but god damn I am unhappy.

Anyone have any success complaining to corporate with these fuckers? From here on out it is all Amazon for this kid. I was looking forward to this game the most this fall, so it is pretty dissapointing. Now I will have to call in sick tomorrow.

My Pops as I call him is a great guy and well get along great but HE is not a gamer. He has no interest in learning about them, trying one, or even seeing one play for that matter. No, not even for his daughter The man knows his history which makes  for a good chat for me but my mind tonight will be on gaming. My wife went yesterday and bought the guide for Fallout 3. This book is about 500 pages long. An entire set of World Books for a single game. Heavy enough for a weapon or to fix a short chair leg so not useless I guess. Tonight She will be wondering how much time she'll have to read the guide and I'll be wondering how many farts it will take to shorten the evening so I can GOW2. I just can't come up with a plan on how to make Trout produce horribe but slient gas? But wait.....I have a master plan! I could hide the PSP in one bathroom and the DS in the other and make like my own cooking caused the shits!! I dont know which is worse, being this hooked on a hobby or not minding to admit it.
