In my opinion what needs to happen is to scrap all 50 state constitutions and the federal one and redraft em all. Keep the good stuff throw out the outdated stuff and debate the stuff in between. There should be 1 simple federal code of law covering everything from moving violations to murder that should be drafted during this process. And all the big stuff should be in these documents somewhere -- education, separation of church and state, health care etc. I don't even know that state constitutions are necessary under this plan. State and local government can handle enforcement of the federal standards. Basically at this point in our country's history there is way, way, way too many inefficiencies produced by the federal>state>local system and it should be revamped to allow our Country to compete globally. Discuss.
3b and while we're at it let's throw out this 2 party system crap, give me candidates, let me know what they stand for, period. There is too much I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine baloney with 2 parties. Discuss some more.

Talkin' Bout A Revolution II
Should the citizens of our country be satisfied with what is generally considered a good situation in the way of standard of living, health care, etc.? Or should we be constantly striving to be the best in all areas, no matter the means needed to bring about the improvements? Summary: Is pretty good, good enough or do we break down the barriers to be the best? Discuss.
