West Virginia

Hey Everybody,

Have a crappy and limited connection to the internet right now so I thought I would let you all know that I am in west virigina until Saturday. So you won't see me on XBL or returning messages until then.

I am in Rosedale West Virginia and it is PURE country. I feel like I am in another world. The mountains are beautiful and the locals are what you see in the movies. Luckily I have not come accross any Deliverance type locals, but I must say they look the part.

Credit reports are fun

So every one knows you are supposed to check your credit report. Very few people actually do it. But today I decided to. So I went to www.annualcreditreport.com and filled out the required info. It is free and doesn't make you sign up for some protection that you have to call back and cancel later, so filling out the stuff wasn't bad. Any way I am going through my report detail by detail and check the names which I am known by. One of the was Paul Dominges! My last name is not even close to Dominges. How the heck did Paul Dominges get on my freakin credit report. You can dispute almost everything on your credit report through their website except for names. So now I am on eternal hold to explain to them that my name is not, has not, and will never be Dominges.

BLAH

15:23 later.

I asked who reported that name to them and she said no one did. Well umm, it's just there? Great.
It took her all of 8 seconds to dispute it and now I wait on an email.

Anyway something more fun:
My daughter has been sleeping through the night or just waking up once which has been AMAZING. She goes to bed at about 8:30pm and sleeps until 7:15am or so. If she wakes up it is usually around 2:00am and will eat and go right back to sleep. So that is good for personal health and for the gaming addiction err umm I mean habit.

Closing word of advice:
When staying up too late do not play with photo-booth on your mac. You will regret it later and it won't be nearly as funny as it was last night.

See Ella this is why you should be in bed at 2am. Now this picture will haunt you as a 16 year old.

Roman numeral for awesome.

LOL, so as most of you know I am a halo addict when it comes to gaming. Even the more silly aspects of halo I totally enjoy. One of those being grifball. So I have played a bunch of grifball and a clip of me F1R3 and Mrs F1R3 in matchmaking got added in the highlight reel of grifball.com. The clip is at about the 1:40 mark of the social highlight reel.

Abstract of what happens:
F1R3 and I invented a launching tactic off of the spawn and used that to launch me toward the ball where with one swing of a hammer I exterminate the entire other team.

Sleep

This morning is a very exciting morning. Last night Ella went to bed at 8pm and played in her crib until about 8:45 when she fell asleep. She slept until 4am. Best night of sleep EVER!!!! Well at least since January 6th. So 7 hours of sleep for Ella was quite the accomplishment. Too bad we thought she would wake up to eat so we stayed awake until midnight (watching lost), but still we got about 4 hours of sleep so that rocks.

We stayed up watching lost on abc.com, it should be illegal to make 3 seasons of high quality television available on demand for free in HD(ish). We just got into the show a few weeks back and are totally addicted. We are currently into season 2 and still have a ways to go in order to catch up to the current season. Well that is all I got on my mind for now so I will leave you with my most recent favorite pic. Here is the cute one.

vacated

Hey all,

For the first time in 4 years I am taking 2 weeks off for vacation. 14 full days, straight, of no work. Beautiful. It's cool how on this site you have friends who notice you being gone. Granted my gaming time has been severly limited since the birth of my beautiful baby girl. But I have gotten a few calls and emails from people who wanted to check and make sure things were okay with the fam. so just letting you know, they are. We are enjoying a vacation to see the family.

Oh so close, yet so far.

So I don't have my 360 with me, but I do have a 360 with me. I also have my wireless adapter. The hospital has free wifi.

Are you thinking what I am thinking? Wife is sleeping. Baby isn't born yet....

YEAH WELL TO BAD BECAUSE I CANT RECOVER MY FREAKING GAMERTAG BECAUSE XBL IS SUCKING!!!!

I could be entertaining myself and creaing great stories about playing xbl while at the hospital, but no. I cant recover my gamertag. The box has no live account on it. You cant create a new one. I am stuck offline. I can partially download my profile, but not enough to play. BLAH!

On a side note.

My wife is amazing and brave and amazing. She is still kind of sick, but she is handling all this so well. She has been in the hospital since 9am this morning and they basically told us we will be here till Tuesday. There is a chance we may have to get a C-sec tomorrow if things don't progress well enough. We really don't want to cut the baby out, but one way or another by tomorrow afternoon we should have a baby. Baby is doing great as far as we know. She (assuming it is a she) is head down and has a great heart beat. So I am just hoping both her and Mom keep things up and all things go well tomorrow.

Once again, I have no problem continually asking because I know it makes a difference. Pray for us.

The hospital has free wifi!

I am almost a Dad. I am so excited. It is crazy, scary, amazing.

My wife's water broke but it is slow going and could be after midnight by the time we deliver.

Under my umbrella ELLA, ELLA, EHH

Okay so I am gaming last night with some of my hardcore halo friends and my cell phone rings. You all know how those hard core haloers are, all tuff and gruff. Well my cell phone rings loud enough that people in the next state over can hear it and of course everyone in my party online can hear the ring. I instantly unplug my mic, but since I have voice coming out of my triton headset that I still have on one ear I hear x Clutch x say "was CMA's ring tone "Umbrella?"

Yes, yes it is. My ring tone is Umbrella by Rhinna, I don't know if I spell or say her name right, but when my cell phone rings she sings. "You can stand underneath my umbrella, Ella, Ella, EH EH. You ask yourself "why CMA? WHY???" Because when it comes to my family I am soft. I am gushy. I am over the top. We are expecting our baby girl any day now and at the furthest away Monday. I can't wait to see her, hold her, and experience all that comes with being Dad. Her name is "Ella."

So yes I am that corny. Whenever I hear that song I laugh and think of my daughter to be. Especially when every time your cell rings you think "could this be the call?" All my friends who are with me when my cell rings hate how the song gets stuck in their head, but their first question is, "is it time?"

So Clutch as you said "no excuses," well I have no excuses. I am just a corny dad to be.

One day closer, one more night of poor sleep

UGGG!!!!
2 more days until she gets induced.
Which for her means about 3 more hours of sleep since she is averaging about 1.5 hours per night. My poor wife is on 3 different medications right now because she is sick. Then add on the feelings of being pregnant and overdue and there you have the definition of miserable. So she is constantly feeling bad, especially at night when I am of little to no help to her because when I wake up in the middle of the night it is in one of two ways:
1. I am fully alert and will be so for the rest of the day. If am startled in the middle of the night and I wake up at 2am I am probably up for the rest of the day.
or
2. I am a semi-functional yet fully asleep. I am able to verbally respond or perform minor tasks, but have no memory of said event later when I wake up.

Last night #2 happened. My wife woke me up in the middle of the night to say she had just thrown up because she was coughing so much, and my loving response was "ok, I love you." It is something we can laugh about the next day but I am surprised I did not wake up with a black eye. My wife is the sweetest woman in the world. I often wonder how I managed to trick her into marrying me, but I guess it doesn't matter now cause she is stuck. I still think she likes me cause my 1337 halo skills.

This Sunday my wife will be induced and we will have our little bundle of joy within 24 hours of said event. So when you ask yourself "what ever happened to CMA?" You know. He is working on raising the next great gamer.

Well I have barely got to play Halo 3 so you know I am not blogging much if I don't have time for halo 3. I am loving the game, but getting ready for the trip is more important yes I know, I know. I leave from Detroit air port at 6:30 am yes I know. But it will be awesome to arrive in Atlanta and hit the AT that same day. One week, no cell phone, no emails, no buildings, no electricity, just me a good friend and the wilderness. Ahhh that will be amazing. While you are in your cubicle this friday this is where I will be,

I am not trying to rubb it in or anything,, umm okay yeah I am. But if you have a problem with it then you can come talk to me about it over a camp fire near a scenic overlook. I have plenty of trail mix to go around.
