Hopefully this works. Cute video of the Ella.
So this may or may not work, but it is a super cute video of my daughter playing with our dog.
Here is the link if it doesn't show up

Gaming with the wife...
We played through some halo 3 campaign last night. Took on two levels though I don't remember the name of them. The first one was largely spent on the hog with Tia (pause for a moment because I can't really say she was "manning the turret...) using the turret on the hog as I drove. She did good mowing down the covenant. Then on the next level where we had to destroy the large anti air craft gun, I introduced her to the gravity hammer. That had me laughing like crazy. She would run into a pack of covenant and just send them flying across the map and she has this cute little grin of satisfaction each time she sent them flying.
It was funny cause once we got to the anti aircraft gun I was running around it looking at it's legs trying to figure out what we were supposed to do to blow it up, and the whole time she is under it shooting the (what I guess is) the exhaust system that has the glowing light (which is what you are supposed to be doing). And I was like okay then, she knows what to do and I don't. She threw a couple spike grenades at it to finish it off and we were that much further into the game. She is controlling her walking better now. I enabled auto centering for her which seems to not do anything at all, but either way she is doing better at H3.
Sunday is a wonderful day, it is our day off from running. Today however, I think we are running a 5k again. I leave you with a reference of how I feel from the great philosophers, Pray for Mojo.

Theories about running.
So here are a few theories I have that contradict normal thoughts about running:
Normal thought:
People say that you feel great after finishing a long challenging run.
My thought:
I disagree. I think that after having 30 minutes of self inflicted agony, when you finally stop you truly appreciate how you normally feel.
Normal thought:
Running brings you closer together as a couple.
My thought:
Running is a time spent not talking that leaves you too exhausted to fight about anything later in the day. (So maybe)
Normal thought:
Running makes you look hot.
My thought:
Running makes you look like your hands are perched up like a Velociraptor and that any moment you could fall over, puke, passout, and pee yourself. Did you know at cross country meets it is normal for people to lose bladder control after a long run? How hot is that? (Because I know too much about a few people on the site I feel I must clarify. Urine is not hot, ever.)
Normal thought:
Running is great cause you get outside.
My thought:
Things that feel like death to me, running and coldness. In a month I will have a lovely combination of both of those things.
Normal thought:
Everyone dies one day, they say that when you run and are healthy you live longer and cheat death.
My thought:
I don't believe that you are cheating death. I believe you are slowly experiencing it over a longer period of time through the pain of running and healthy food. Therefor death doesn't have to come to you as soon because you have been meeting with him regularly.
Enough ventilation.
Progress
Ran a 5k today with the wife as part of the training for the half marathon. It was tough, I wasn't too sure if I was going to make it all the way there cause my leg muscles were so sore, but she encouraged me through it. So the training is going well.
Tonight we play halo. That is the thought that gets me to the finish line.

Pain, day 2.
So on Saturday I had my second day of running. So the wife, Ella, the dog (MC), and I set off to the park to run 2.3 miles. I was feeling sore from the day before, but knew I just had to push through it. The dog didn't even want to run on Saturday which is a rare occasion, but like me he didn't have a choice. So we set off and I was expecting to feel like I was going to die after 5 minutes, but I felt alright. Then after ten I felt alright. Then after 15 I felt alright. Then about the 20 minute marker, there it is. OUch. Body hates me and I want to stop. But I pushed through the wall and finished up the run in 23 minutes. Afterward we walked another mile and a half then spent some time on the swings with the Ella who decided to wake up at that point of the days festivities.

You can notice our high tech jogging stroller in the backround. Ella is doing well and you might be able to see that her top teeth have started to come in (top left pic).
Tia's halo training has begun and the day after we played she said she "has to admit that she is looking forward to playing again." So that is a good sign. We played through some campaign and then worked on playing guardian and jumping over peoples heads as they chase you through a door way so you can AR/melee them and win the fight. She is still figuring out the whole not looking at the floor while running thing, but she is doing well.
Sunday was our day off of running and this afternoon we will be looking to run 3 miles.
Closing note: I didn't know about the muscle that runs along your lowest set of ribs. I know it now because since saturday it has been screaming, "I hate you." I look forward to hearing that from my body a few more times this afternoon.

Pain, day one.
Today we started running. According to my wife we will start with and easy 2 mile run. According to me there is no such thing as an easy two mile run. My cute daughter Ella

went with us in the stroller and just today she learned how to clap and would often cheer us on, as I dragged my near lifeless body along it gave me a reason to smile. But anyway we ran through a local park and did 2.1 miles which feels similarly like Chinese water torture if you haven’t tried running a few miles lately and needed a comparison.
After it was all said and done I actually felt pretty decent. After our cool down walk I felt like my heart wasn’t going to explode and I felt like I could have pushed a little further. So there is hope, but more importantly it was a fun day with the wife and the Ella. So I am glad for that…
and I am also glad that tonight we play halo.
