Voting Conundrum?

Not sure who to vote for?  I have always, since the time I was 18, voted Republican.  It has been a pretty easy ordeal since there has always been someone that I could easily get behind based on their platform.  This year?  Well, frankly it's been tough.  There is an awful lot of similarities between all of the candidates regardless of party.  Everyone wants to use the keyword "change" while being cery vanilla in explaining what that means to them.  I used the link below on the top 28 issues to see who I most closely meshed with.  If I follow it, it looks like I'll be voting for Barack this year.   Well.....a first time for everything I guess.

(Make sure you rank the items importance as well, and complete all 28 before submitting to get the most accurate percentage).

Enjoy!!

Our votes end up being a total waste of time, energy, and effort. One example was the Republicans having the House, Senate, and White House to themselves and guess what was accomplished for the supposed conservative agenda? Zero. Nil. Zilch. Nada.

Another example is the Democrats taking back over the Congress. Most of them ran on an "Stop the war in Iraq, and bring the troops home" agenda. That's working out really well for them.

This is pretty interesting. I won't say who it said I should vote for, as I hate that bitch.
It is funny that caring about the environment and a woman's right to choose automatically makes you a liberal, but I digress.
Seriously, that is pretty cool. It lets you see if you and a candiate agree on the same things. But there is more to voting than picking the person that you agree with the most. Whereas I may agree with... Lets just call her Bitchary, I don't trust her and I think she has no character. She, or any candidate may say things just because their supporters want them to and there is no telling what they will actually try to do once in office.
But wait, I just stole Fades blog. Sorry Fade! I liked the topic though and it really got me thinking. Good job.

I would like a little more transparency about the organization that sponsors the site. It seems like a pretty easy method for manipulating opinion using any algorithim you like. I'm considering putting up my own and auctioning fixed results to the highest bidder. Does that make me Republican?

The worst possible election (for me at least) would be ole Hil versus the Huck. I would hate myself either way!

I'm a RP kinda gal too, but I'm cognizant of the fact that I need a back-up.
