Laid off

So, my pregnant wife got laid off today. So did a bunch of other people that work at her company. The scary thing is she was the one that had the benefits.

Good times... good times.

My wife's friend / assistant in her department is also getting laid off. She's not only the lowest paid person in the office but she does tasks of 4 different people.

How that makes any sense on saving money is beyond me. Why not lay off a 100k + salaried project manager or two ?

Stupid business decisions.
