The Cradle will Fall

Well not really a cradle but the baby. My sister had a mishap in which her 18 month old knocked her 2 month old of the table.  yeah I know the table isn't a safe place. He was in a bouncy seat strapped in and of course things can happen.  Everything is fine, after a lengthy visit to the ER and dealing with DHS.  I know they are out to protect the kids but accidents do happen, and the eay they treated my sister really pisses me off. Its like they assume you intentionally hurt your kid until proven innocent. Well after CAT scans and other test they did find a small fracture in the skull, but everything is fine other than my sister feeling like a failed mother.  FAST FORWARD..

4 days later... My 11 year old is very helpful with my 5 month old and often takes him to the living room to play with him and occasionally change diapers.  As he was carrying him he tripped and fell bumping the younger ones head into a door frame.  All in about 5 seconds all hell broke loose in my house.  I had stepped outside for something and everything was cool and when i came back in, I could hear both my sons crying and my wife telling the older one that its okay.  Well with the previous accident with my sisters kids I am freaking out.  We weren't sure where he hit his head, trying to calm a scared baby isn't easy anyway.  We finally start to see a bump on his forehead and it swells out a little(which is a good thing). Everything  turned out to be okay.  My older son did everything is his power to protect Max and even sacrificed himself.

ER trip avoided...............This Time

Its the new way our government handles anything, you are guilty until proven guilty, and if somehow you get off, you are still guilty you just got away.
