Work sucks. Gone for one day and everything goes crazy.

I get back to work and my Inbox is stuffed. Apparently a sales person promised an interface to a lab machine within a week (WTF!). Apparently the deal is important enough that I will have to do the code for it. Unfortunately no one has given me emails. There's been a bunch of short cryptic replies coming from all over.
