Just another day

since my last entry into my blog things have gotten a little better. wifey has a job and im working 5-8hr days instead of 4-10 hour days.  the only thing is that with the wife not working for soo long we are still behind and a really dont see us making it. we are about ready to lose our van to repossession and my jeeps water pump went out.  i have sold a bunch of stuff just to try and even things out but it seems like it it is never enough. we always have a negative checking account and im running out of stuff to sell. the shit is starting to hit the fan. i am depressed as hell and im finding escape in gaming which i dont think is the best solution.

i know that i can not manage money well so i am looking for some help on better ways to manage money.  i hate to come off as whining but i am feeling pretty low right now and i have lost all pride in myself.  i have run out of answers but still there are a bunch of questions out there.  i am all for any input any of yall have to give me from this wonder site that im glad to belong to.  good or bad let me know.

gaming as an escape isn't necessarily bad. but if that's all you do, it may not be a bad idea to cut back on other fixed costs, maby lose a premium cable package. use celing fans in place of air conditioning to reduce power consumption. Drive with a light pedal to cut down on gas. the easiest way to do it is to put every expense on a spreadsheet, chart out your next 2 months of expected expenses and paydays to plan ahead for days where money will be more tight. Without knowing your exact situation, it gets dificult to provide extensive advice, but feel free to PM me with any questions.

not sure about state or income taxes in TN, but you might want to look at increasing your payroll deductions if possible.

If you guys have cell phones and a home line, you might want to consider getting rid of your home line.

just keep grinding away. Things will get better.

make a plan and stick to it. If you can't pay a bill be sure to call the company and explain the situation if you tell them you will send them 10 bucks a month till you can pay the rest of the balance they are usually cool with giving deferments if they have received any communication from you at all.

I am in a similar spot now. I may have to look into relocating soon if my work can't increase my pay. Which would seriously suck.
