Star Wars : Force Unleased - TOO SHORT!!!

I played it, loved it, now what?? This is definitely a rental, the game took me less then 6 hours on the Xbox360, WTF? When I took down a Star Destroyer I was like "Yea now we are are talking", turns out thats the next to last level. The game is fun and the story is better then any of the prequels, the cutscenes could be filmed live and made into a great 2hr movie. I am such a damn sucker, I also bought the PSP version, which weirdly has the same story but slightly different cutscenes. At least the PSP version has a arena battle mode with multiplayer, for some replay value.

I am still playing Halo 3 and GTAIV because of the multiplayer, and GTA IVs single player took me like 30-40 hours, now that's a value.

Batman The Dark Knight

Just saw it, it was the best Batman movie ever, possibly the best "Superhero" movie as well. However this movie was more like the movie Seven then a "Superhero" movie, and that's why it works so well. It is tough, gritty, real and full of tension. It is truly great piece of filmmaking, and Nolan's best since Momento. The only thing that still bugs me is Bale's deep phoney voice he does when Batman. Leger's Joker was very much like the Killing Joke Joker, and I think it was by far his best performance. I have to watch it six or seven more times to really take in everything, I have to try to get to the IMAX to see it as well. For folks with kids be aware, even though it was PG-13, it really is bordering on an R. It's very violent, disturbing, and the two-face makeup rivaled Darkman. I have let my 7 year old twins see a few PG-13s like Indiana Jones and Harry Potter, but this movie would be way too much for them.

The 501st Legion

I have been very busy lately, not only with work and my twin girls, but I also have a new hobby that's been taking up a lot of my time. I built a complete set of Stormtrooper Armor last December from a kit and joined the 501st Legion in April. The 501st is the largest Star Wars costuming group in the world and they go to events with Stormtroopers, Biker Scouts, Snowtroopers, Boba Fetts, Jango Fetts, Tuskens, and Darth Vaders. I have been to a couple of events already with the Empire City Garrison and its a real trip, my id is TK6744. I just did a Weird Al Yankovic concert in Westbury NY where I was on stage with 9 other troopers during the Saga Begins song, doing a dance routine. I have a charity even coming up at Camp Kiwi in upstate NY on June 26th, it will be nice to do a troop that's actually for a good cause. GTA IV & Frontlines

Still playing GTAIV obsessively, still have not completed it, I'm about 70% through. I only get to play an hour or so a night so it is taking a while. I also just got a free copy of Frontlines :Fuel of War from THQ/KAOS studios. I beta tested the game over a year and a half ago in NYC and I received a few free games for my time, and the promise of the Xbox 360 version of Frontlines when it came out. Well its been out for three months and I had not received the game. I emailed Kaos and THQ repeatedly and from what I gather the guy who was in charge of the beta testing had left, so I figured I was screwed. Well finally yesturday I got a package from them with 2 copies of the Xbox 360 version, I am glad they finally stepped up and made good on the promise, just wish it had of been three months ago. I am going to start playing it right after GTA IV if I can resist Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. BTW: The extra copy is up on ebay for $25 BIN for anyone interested.

Also my friggin clan 2old4tactics360 seems to have shut down without warning. There had been some crap going on, and I guess the owner got fed up. It just would have been nice for KuruptU4Fun to let us all know before hand. If anyone has any openings let me know, I only play an hour or two a night and right now I am looking to play some GTA IV, Halo 3, and maybe Frontlines once I get started with it..

Halo 3

Sold all my 360 games on Ebay last week, only kept Star Wars BF II and Quake 4. I figured H3 was all I would be playing for the next 6 months. I'm picking up my Legendary Halo 3 package today, can't friggin wait.

Happy New Year

We its a New Year and I have been playing some new games like Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas. I was asked to leave and then removed from 2old2pwn. They seem to insist that all the members play Halo 2 from time to time, and I have just moved on at this point. With all the new games out there, and my limited time to play, I just don't have the time to waste on a 2+ year old regular XBOX game. I am eagerly awaiting Halo 3, but until then I am going to enjoy all the new 360 games have to offer. I am looking for a new clan that's a good fit for that, so please let me know if you know of one that has an opening. I am 35, have twin 6 year old girls, and live in Mineola, NY (On Long Island). I usually play between 7:30 and 9PM EST, and I just started playing Rainbow SIx and I have been enjoying GOW for the past two months.

Sold the First Have a 2nd UP NOW!!!

Managed to sell the first for $1111.11. Luckily it was a guy who paid cash and came to pick it up. Remarkably FYE actually came through with my Pre-Order from May and I have that one up for a 1 day auction now. Have it set for $777.77 BIN and Pick up is available for folks on Long Island NY. The prices have come way down, even though they are still hard to get.

PS3 Up on Ebay

Mine's up on ebay for 1222.22 starting, 2222.22 BIN. I was hoping to break 2500, but the market is a bit flooded and there are a ton of fake 0 or - feedback folks bidding and not following though. Luckily I haven't had that happen, and I hope it doesnt because the listing cost $20. I did try to protect myself, you can select to restrict bidders and accept bids from Only US folks , with + feedback, and with a PayPal accounts. However this is still not a guarentee you will not get a clunker. I wish they would adjust the claims on some news sites about $5000+ bids and the $3000 average, because most of the ones I saw sell for over $2000 were from illegitimate bidders. I am considering hanging on to it for another 2 to 3 weeks, until the folks that may need it for Christmas finally wake up and reailize there are none to be had, and there are barely enough coming in 06' to meet the pre-orders. Maybe then I can get in the 3K to 5K range from a legit bidder who really needs it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Selling all my Mego Star Trek Stuff and a PS3

I am selling all my Mego Star Trek stuff starting Tuesday night on Ebay. I will also have a PS3 up Friday if EBGames come through with my Pre-Order. My wife was 6th on line, and according to my receipt I should get #7. However I checked with the local EBGames and the clerk said they may not get 8, they have to wait and see how many show up Friday. I also checked on my FYE pre-order I did back in May, no hope on that one. The clerk told me they have been taking pre-orders for a year, and that I was probably in the 3rd or 4th shipment they will get.

PS3 Pre-Order - #6

Saw this posted around this morning around 7 AM, and I quickly called the little woman. Told her to get the kids to school, and her ass down to EBGames in the mall for a Pre-Order. She got there at 8AM and managed to be #6 in line, she plopped down the $100 and we are hoping for the best. Someone on line complimented her and said she was a really nice wife, tell me about it. Already have a Pre-Order I got with FYE back last April, I have no faith they are ever going to have even a fraction of the number they took pre-orders for.
