Mother's.....What can ya do!!

I have been trying not to get to personal in my blogs thus far but I have to get this off my chest.

My mother came to my and Whistler's home for Thanksgiving, keep in mind I have not seen my mother in a few months so I figured her coming wouldn't be that bad, after all it was just a few days. Before she gets here Whistler and I have to prepare.........she will fall asleep on the couch with the TV on all night and Whistler is very protective over his baby (the TV) and hates when it is left on all night. So in preparation we move the big screen into our bedroom and set up the 37 inch in the living room. So my mother arrives, the kids are excited, I am waiting for that mean jab from my mother about my weight, hair, makeup or whatever she can find. I look around where is Whistler............nope not there to help bring in the luggage, not in the living room or restroom........wait...........there he is in the bedroom lying on the bed playing xbox..........he was hiding out! Okay, don't get me wrong, I don't blame him I would hide to, but I was hoping he wouldn't!!
So the rest of the holiday goes good.......Thanksgiving dinner was awesome......I made a great creamed corn casserole. On black friday my mother had it in her head that it would be cool to go shopping......hang on while I swallow the vomit in the back of my throat.......I say okay but dont really want to. We get up go shopping, mom buys me a VERY nice Christmas present, somtimes I think she does it to make up for the fact that she was such a shitty mother while I was growing up!! We go back to my house and my mother offers to watch the kids so Whistler and I can go watch the Mist (good movie......bad ending). Whistler and I go to the movie, have a good time, cant wait to get back to the kids after seeing the movie. Walk in the door and all the kids are sleeping in the living room, put them in their beds. I then garb my old cellphone because I am giving it to my grandmother for Christmas and proceed to delete all my personal information off it while my mother comes and sits down beside me......she is DRUNK.....I can not hardly stand to sit there, every breath I take I smell the stinch of alcohol on her breath. But I get through it hand her the phone then tell her that she will have to help grandma set up the voicemail, my mother has the same provider so I figured it was a no brainer. WRONG..........she slurs out that she needs me to tell her how to set it up.......ummmm OK.....I tell her three times in small short words and sentences each time I get more and more frustrated that she cant even follow simple instructions she is so trashed. All I can think about the whole time is how pissed I was that she sat in my home watching my three babies getting trashed! I finally blow up at her and tell her I am done trying to explain it to her and I was going to bed!!

Guess what!! The next morning when she was sober she knew exactly how to do it............OMFG!!!

Gonna get egged!!

So I already know what I am about to say is going to cause a huge uproar, but I have to say it anyway!!

I want to apologize for not playing with anyone as of late, I have a very good reason, I am not in LOVE with Halo 3 like the rest of the people on my friends list. Sure it is okay to pop in every once in a while and kill a few people.......BUT.......It is not my game, I don't suck at it I just don't like the atmosphere that comes along with the game. Halo make people even the calmest and nicest of people become filled with rage and hate, what is it about this game? I have to wonder if Bungie put some kind of subliminal messages in the game like.......HATE EVERYONE or KILL KILL KILL or IF YOU DON'T WIN YOU SUCK ASS!! Seriously, I don't get it....I have been called some of the most horrid names......but only while playing Halo. I have had team mates totally blow up at me while playing Halo, ummmmm it is just a freaking game people come on!

So, to pass the time until the Halo craze dies down I have been playing other games like PSU or Blue Dragon by myself or with the hubby (Dr Whistler) except on Mondays when everyone decides to pry themselves away from Halo to play some GOW!!

The most wonderful time of the year......my ass!!

We were in Wal-mart doing our weekly shopping when I got my first taste of the Wonderful christmas season that is to come. I am walking down the isle, mind you I am not going slow because I like to get in and get outta there as fast I can, Wal-mart is not my favorite place on earth, yet we end up going there way to often! Anyway walking down the isle and this lady comes flying down the isle beside like if she doesnt make it to the hair product isle fast enough all the items on the shelf will self destruct.  She hits my hand with her cart -- which by the way pisses me off -- so I laced my fingers through the mesh metal of the cart to slow her down. Wow, I created a freaking monster, I think she got Cart rage or something she turns beet red as she screams EXCUSE YOU and yanks her cart outta my fingers and continue's to fly down the aisle towards her destination taking out anyone in her path! WTF was that  .......what ever happened to common fucking courtesy.......all this event did is bring to mind the fact that the christmas season is fast approaching and shit like this is only gonna get worse the closer it gets.

Okay, maybe someone can tell me why it is worth beating some bitch over the head with your purse to get the last pair of Heelys for little Timmy........When did Christmas become more about gifts and less about teachng our children the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it.................
