SW TFU: Last 3 Levels

Well, i played through to the end last night and this morning. WOW.

The final 3 levels are packed full of difficult things. Enemies are harder to kill. More bosses, and thier hard to kill. Have to do things that actually work your brain a little. It was awesome lol.

You know how sometimes a game gets worse in the later stages?? Well not this one. It got more challenging, and in return.. was much more fun. Even though your a stronger Jedi your tested. Which is always good, I mean I want a challenge in a game, atleast time to time. I mean yea, after i beat the game this morning i went back to other levels and started the search for some of the holocrons i missed.

Ive unlocked ALOT of the Saber colors now, and all but 1 of the power stones. I ended up having all the saber combos and points to spare, but im still short in the other 2 sections.. but maxed out in quite a bit.. just still need to do some things to finish up.

Something I noticed last night and today will allow for me to give more insight in my Review.. I hadnt payed attention much until today and relized a few things that'll help me explain powerups and such.

The last level was the hardest by far.. Mainly because of the number of enemies, and the tasks you had to complete while fighting them. Made you think.. and form a stratagy as to how you were gonna go about accomplishing it.

Now, it may have just been really hard because of HOW i played it. Im a saber guy man i was loving waving my lightsaber around at everything.. when in all I prolly coulda stood back more and used my Force powers and longer range attacks.. seeing as how those had finally caught up and were prolly needed more than my lightsaber.

Cinematics got better at the end too.. a few were quite lengthy, but VERY enjoyable. Some very nice action stuff, and a very well put together storyline.

9th level i score 10/10, one of the more fun parts of the game comes in the middle, and at the end.. of this level..

10th level prolly a 7/10 seeing as how i dont remember much about it.. other than it was long.. plenty of fighting and the cinematics were killer.

last level.. im gonna score it a 9/10 its hard, hard enough i basiclly rushed through the end of it.. just because i was getting eager to see what happend.. and was tired of dieing lol.

So over all impression of the game is: It's Awesome. Definitly play this game.. even if your not some SW "FAN" but enjoy the stories and the movies enough that you watched em.. Play the game to be able to piece it all together.

I'll go as in depth as I can later.. Im gonna write up what i hope to be a nice review.. that SHOULD answer some questions about features and other things you may be wondering about.

Hope you all liked reading the blogs.. im sure the - rep were because i was "spamming" blogs.. when actually i wasnt.. I was just doing them in between levels and really i was so excited and having so much fun didnt even stop to think id be "Spamming" or causing anyone any problems.. so im sorry for that.. Id say i'll have something worked up by next week.. im gonna allow myself a bit more time to unlock that last few sabers/costumes etc .. that way i can list them. I'll list stuff like that in a way where if you dont wanna know you wont see it unless you do something to make yourself see it lol.

SW TFU: First day Analysis

Well. My first day with Star Wars the Force Unleashed is over. I more than likely wont play it anymore today, seeing as how Halo 3 called out to me all day "play me.....Playmeeeee".

So far id have to say I enjoy the game very much. Theres a great plot and storyline. It's awesome to follow and take part in how its unfolding. The cinematics are awesome, and as you beat the levels you unlock them to watch again later . Ive also unlocked alot of costumes. You get most of them, well maybe all of them, but just advancing in the game. However im sure theres something special that you have to find a Jedi Holocrom to unlock?

I also have a bunch of Lightsabers.. Green,blue,purple,red,gold and unstable gold. Some of the power stones i have as well, but for the most part I just flop back and forth. Once I have them all i'll try and post a blog about all of them. I've always asked myself what my favorite color lightsaber is and im stuck on Blue or Purple.. as of now im using purple but some of them look awesome so once I unlock more i'm sure i'll try them.

My character now has ALL the blade combos unlocked and bought. But i still have some room for improvement in the other 2 sections. I'll explain further on these later.. either way there are 3 types of skills, that require you to upgrade.

I have 23 of the 47 Achievements. Im gonna list some of the ones i've unlocked since I last posted achievements recieved lol.

Im sure i'll have to play the game on other levels before i actually get some of the others.. but Im also pretty close to getting about 10 more as well.

SW TFU: Lv.8 Rescue Senator Bail Organa

Objectives are too Rescrue the Sarlucc, get 425K Force Points, and 15 holocrons.
I found 10 of them, well 11, i fell down and couldnt get back to the 11th lol. All other objectives i completed. Had to Save Senator Bail Organa.

Overall this was a very fun level. Mix of enemies was awesome, gave you something different. Had to fight 2 AG-ST's with aswesome cinema when you defeat them . Then to top it all off, Shaak Ti's padawan Maris Droon turns to the dark side and has control over a "Bull Rancor".

Now this one looked exactly like the one from Return of the Jedi. And man, he's hard to beat.. plus on top of him charging you, you had that crazy chick with duel saber staffs. they were like night sticks.. anyways she'd charge you and use the force on you when youwere fighting him lol.

When you defeat him, it's one of the longest cinemas yet, with the button combo feature it was very sweet to watch your dude jump around taking it too that big ugly thing. Then thecinema when you defeat her, was awesome too.

After that Vader pays you another visit for a bit of a chat.. and then its off to your next mission. But you'll have to wait til later for that.. and im sorry for the delays in myblogs.. it wouldnt let me post these after i got done

Either way overall level score is a 9/10
Awesome fun in this level with lots of things to do, and plenty of things to beat up on.

Cant wait to get on with it tomorrow. 1st day anyalisis coming shortly

SW TFU: Lv.7 Back to Karshyyk

Now back on Karshyyk, this time as the apprentice, Imperials have takin over.. wookies are boxed up everywhere, and troopers with flame throwers are happily burning down the forest.

Objectives are to destroy the comm tower, pick up 300 Force points, and 15 holocroms
I took a break in the middle to start this post, but right now im on a secondary mission..that i was sent on by none other than Senator/Princess Liea(sp?) blah lol. Anyways back to the action.. be back soon to finish.. hopefully the site aint asleep then

While heading to Destroy the Skyhook for leia things get harry. you gotta free some wookies and take on some pretty tough enemies.. and another AT-SK thing. Then you find out you gotta go back to Felucia and save her "father" lol Senator organa.

I missed one of the comm tower tasks.. and only found 9 of the 15 holocroms updated a few times in this one cause i died alot and ended up getting like 1mil in Force points lol

Level Rating is 7/10 tough level.. but seems like things werent pointed out too well? that or i was just into the killing and didnt notice.

SW TFU: Lv.6 Cloud City Rescue

Im gonna leave the with ?? because i dont wanna give it away unless you ask. not real big on spoiling things for others.. cause id hate if you did it to me. Anyways..your in cloud city. objectives are to Freeze 10 imperials in Carbonate.. bad thing is i only did 1 by accident and couldnt figure out where to put them to do this lmfao. i got 3 of the 5 holocroms and i did achieve the 200 force points.

This is wehre i got the bully achievement. As im dressed in my new "bount hunter disguise". Another pretty simple level, you just lead ??? out of the tavern and to a ship.. fighting ugnaughts and imperials..fun level all in all. because theres alot of enemies to bash on.

7/10 on the level.. fast passed, and the primary objective kept you busy That and you get to pimp your new talent.. the Saber throw.

Now since we are on the topic of Saber's i think its time to touch on those. You see, you pick up those holocroms i keep refering too. Some give you Force Points.. and others give you points for adding to your talents, upgrades etc. Well some give you Saber Crystals. And here are two types. 1 type gives you a color crystal, which easy enough, changes the color of your blade. I currently have Gold, Red, Blue and unstable Gold. Then you get Power Crystals. Which add powers to your blade such as.. increased damage, better blocking, or a chance at a lighting hit in your combo etc etc.

Just a breif overview on all that for now.

On to lv.7 back to Karshyyk as you learn "lighting shield" Should be fun.

SW TFU: Lv.5 Escape the ISS Imperial

Easy enough right? Just escape? Well while your at it you gotta pick up 150K in Force points.. that was easy. Then 5 holocrons.. all easy to find. and destroy the 6 remaining Escape pods, there all in the same room. thats the objectives here.

All in all your primary objective is to save Juno.. your female pilot whom as a player you get the feeling he's got the hots for this well endowed blonde

Either way the level is kinda kool. You get too poop on Stormtroopers.. and theres not really a boss to this one. Simple stage.. totally story oriented. Fun to play though.. action was always there.

I picked up a few more achievements in this one.. but i forgot to sign on XBL before coming here.. so all acheivements will have to wait. I got them all for beating the levels.. then one called "bully" for the most part you get these achievements for just mixing up how you kill enemies enough to do these 200kills etc etc.

level is a 5/10 quick to the point and storyline based. I got all the objectives in this one.

on to the next level as i just learned "Saber Throw"

SW TFU: Lv.4 Felucia

Well as the title states this is on the planet of Felucia. A nature driven planet.. with big tall plants(mushrums) some nasty foes, and a Jedi controlled Native race.

Shaak Ti proves to you very quick that she's a member of the old jedi council and one of the strongest Jedi in the Universe. The control and teachings she's put on the native makes them very tough to fight. Especially in groups lol.

Objectives 250K Force Points, which i ended up with 500,000 which is an achievement lol. 15 holocrons, and you had to kill 4 of these Rancors(those giant frog looking things.. you may remember it from Return of the Jedi, the thing in the pit they tried to feed Luke too. AWESOME cinema's when defeating these guys.. they were killer. I also found 9 of the 15 holocrons on this level.

Another thing to note is, you Learn Force Repulse at the beginning of this level, and MAN WAS THAT A SAVOR. By far the hardest level so far. Enemies are not only harder to kill.. but they block, and smack the crap outta ya lol.

Shaak Ti was also the hardest boss so far. She actually killed me. However you restart where you left off in the battle so i had full power, while she was about 3/4 of a bar. AND she STILL almost killed me again before I got her. Cinema for her death was pretty cool as well. I mean instead of, well.. i'll shutup.. but its cool in its own way

Challenging, you had to "think" about the upcoming battles. Plan them out.. have a gameplan etc etc. Plus the cinema prior too, and during this level.. not to mention the big Surprise AFTER makes this level my favorite so far.

Now just to let ya know where im at.. Vader took me somewhere.. after a HUGE plot change. And without giving up too much im supposed too "sever all ties with my past" go it alone and do this mission for Vader..wish me luck.. back to the action

SW TFU: Lv.3 Raxus Prime

Level 3 is where the action picks up. The enemies are stronger now, and it seems like im falling behind in skill due to missing some of the "holocrons" not "halo" lmfao got halo on the brain.

Either way this level is pretty cool. There's some thinking too this one in part. Now on to the specifics.

Objectives: 250,000 Force Points, i got that one easy. 15 Holocrons, but i could only find 9 again. and Something about Destroying 10 Scavanger Sciffs, which i assume are the things they enemies were riding on, i just couldnt figure out how to blow em up so i moved on til another day lol.

This level played well. It was fun. The boss was some kind of pshyco though cause he'd rebuilt the Jedi Council with fake statues of yado, mace and the rest of the council lmfao. This planet is like a ruins for droids etc. there were Jawa's. Easy to beat. but there were some other enemies here that were pretty tough. Not to long, not to short. Lots of action in places, and a few things you had to take the time to figure out.

The Boss was a beast. He keeps summing one of the smaller boss's from earlier in the level. They were'nt that hard to defeat but man it made for some fun cineamatics while you fought him, but while he's throwing stuff at you, while you fight this hunk of junk.. dayum lol

Level score is gonna have to be a 5/10 cause im less likely to enjoy it again. Not to mention you get turned around in there a bit. Next up.. a seek and destroy mission on Jedi Master Shaak Ti on the planet Falucia.

SW TFU: Lv.2 Tie Factory(Act1)

Level 2, your first as the apprentice, Is located in a Tie Fighter Factory. Your main mission to find and distroy Jedi Master General Kota. Other objectives are to destroy 5 Tie Fighters, and pick up 15 Jedi Halocrons.

So basiclly you get some storyline cinematics. They are very nice, I enjoyed them. For the most part all the main characters are introduced to you at this time as well so you know the people around out.

Now, the halocrons. These are used as powerups. Some of them give you Jedi points, which help you to level up your character, and some unlock or give you the powers that you can upgraded etc. Everytime a new upgrade is available it will pop up and tell you, so that you can hit select, and go into your list of upgrades to spend your points. Some of these halocrons you'll find just wondering around the level, some right in the open, some you'll have to do some searching. I found 14/15 halocrons on this level. 2 of which you have to actually think a bit to get them. I remember where most are, but im gonna leave that a mystery until asked. Also, i'll go into more detail about upgrades and things once i gather a better understanding of them myself.

On to the level. It's fairly long.. which is good, im not big on short levels with hardly nothing to do. You take on stormtroopers and some Kota mercenaries. You can throw tie fighters at them, and lil fusion coil type things. For anyone that's played the demo.. this is basiclly that level, except some things are changed around in the Demo from what you'll actually do here.

There are a few occasions where you find yourself out matched, so you'll need to think a bit. Im relizing that about this game pretty quick, you actually have to use your brain in some situations in order to achieve your goals. You can bust out windows in the station, and let bad guys get sucked into space before the blaster shields re-close the windows. You can use cover from blaster fire, which is vital at this point because your character is no where near as strong as vader. and you have to actually use the block button.

Your gonna get some level upgrades not to far into the game, and I suggest you use your first few on your saber defenses, this allows you to block blaster fire without thinking and also deflects them back at the shooters better.

Another objective is to get 200,000 jedi points. Which are basiclly scored on how cool you kill an enemy, and you get multipliers for combos etc. I got 250,000 which is an achievement.(Skilled)

As I said its a long level, you basiclly see every aspect of how a tie fighter is built by the end of it. Running through the factory killing bad guys and learning your skills in the game. I died once. It auto-saves quite often so you dont really fall to far back after dieing. You also fight your first AT-AK as well. And man is it cool when you defeat it.

You wind your way through this factory, working your way towards Kota. And when you get there, the battle doesnt disappoint this time. cinematics mid-fight add some suspense and drama, as the dialogue from kota is nice to see.. i mean in the movie's when jedi's did battle it was all about talking... think back to anakin/count dooku.

Your button combo is harder to hit this time, once you defeat him. And if you dont hit it right.. He blocks it, and you start over. But once you do it right your in for a treat. As the level comes to an end I swear you'll be ready to play.. which is why im gonna wrap this blog up here very soon.. im gonna go play, and this time i'll have a pen and paper for some note taking..

I found 14/15 halocrons.. 3 times i was told i had upgrades to use but Im saving up for some stuff right now. As i said i'll have more time today to play with some of that stuff so i'll have some info on that, and your lightsaber upgrades/costumes.

Overall Score for level 6/10

I score it a 6 to leave room for improvement, and because its way better than avg. Im a big fan of star wars and so far its been great to play a game like this. the level had challenging parts.. a few parts where you have to THINK, and use your brain to get what you want. IE 2 of the halocrons require quite a bit of thinking and heres a HINT.."a force sprint" so be sure and upgrade to get that early, your gonna need it lol.

SW TFU: Lv.1 Prologue

Well Alright, I had some extra time to start the game last night prior to my MML Matches. So heres a bit about the game so far. Starting with the first level. "Prologue".

The game has a very nice little cineamatic if you sit at the start menu for awhile. Worth a watch but has alot from the Demo scenes. Once you hit start you choose your level. I choose to play on the default setting. "normal" or "sith warrior". You have 3 others to choose from. Easy is Apprentice, Hard is Sith Lord and Expert is Sith Master.

The Story starts out just like any Star Wars movie, the rolling summary of whats happening, and whats about to happen. Darth Vader flies down to the wookie planet of Kashyyyk, in search of a rogue Jedi. So yea, you start out the game as Vader, full powers, a Master of the Dark Side, the most powerful Jedi of all time . He's slow, but his power makes up for it. You go slamming through Wookies with ease, not much of a challenge on this level. But thats the way it should be right? I mean come on you VADER.

Stormtroopers are there fighting with wookies as well, and seems if you kill 12 of them you get an acheivement, so i practiced my force grips by throwing about 15 of them off bridges to uncertian death lol. "Worst Day Shift Manager Ever".

Now to touch on a few things so far, most of the achievments are listed as "Secret" however, i've provided the list and for the most part all the "Secret" ones are easy to get if your using all your powers to your advantage. Your also gonna relize pretty quick that with Vader you so powerful not much can happen, all his stats and attributes are maxed out, he basiclly blocks all blaster fire on his own, leaving you to just walk through the level slamming wookies everywhere, breaking alot of stuff to bits, and generally whoopin some arse.

Use this level to work on things like force grip, lightsaber throws, and your force push. All of which you can develope your main character into later. This Prologue is fairly short, all ending with a battle between Vader and a Jedi Master. This is all important because of the ending result. I wont spoil the fun but its not easy to find out if you wanna know, or if you just stop and think of how it all plays out.

Anyways the boss battle at the end of Level 1 is a bit of a disappointment, i mean your vader you make quick work of him, and the worst thing you get is a few tie fighters dropped on you. One of the cool things about the game is when you defeat a boss, in order to "finish them off" you'll be required to hit a series of buttons. If hit correctly it'll go through an awesome show of cinematics that ultimently defeats them and leaves you sitting there going "wow, that was pretty cool".

Achievements for this level are based on how quick you figure things out. I got the one mentioned above because i Knew about it. Then there are some of the Combo Achievements in which I got fairly easy by allowing a number of wookies to surround me, then using force repulse to send them all flying off a bridge.

Objectives on this mission were simple, Kill the Jedi Master. Achievements I got on this level.G

Overall Score for the level: 8/10

Yup an 8. Easy, not that long of a level, but still you PLAY AS VADER. I mean come on, how many gamers out there have gotten a Star wars game, and wanted noting more than to go on a rampage with Vader. Well you FINALLY get to do it. Easy or not, it's still fun to get to do it. It's like a dream come true to a Star wars fan. Lots of cool stuff to break and destroy so play around with that. My first impression of the game after this level was "wow.. ok that was awesome" but then im like "ok now to watch some cinematics and hope that i can get my character to such powers".

Now for the cinematics. After defeating the Jedi Master you straight into the plot of the game, you relize how Vader came to get his "secret apprentice" and then its virtually right into your first mission.

Thers level 1, I'll be posting level 2 shortly. Soon as I get my lil girl up and ready for the school bus.!!

Star Wars: TFU

Well, It's finally here. I've been looking forward to a game like this for awhile, and in a few hours i'll be heading up to wal-mart to make the purchase. Sadly, I wont get to play until 2nite, or tomorrow morning.

Over the next few days im gonna blog on my experience with the game.. all leading up to what I hope to be my first game review for 2o2p. So in saying that let me go ahead and get started. The game is created by lucas arts.. the story is THE star wars Saga.. it ties together from episode III to episode IV.. or as star wars fans know it.. "the Darth Vader era", or "Order 66". Which is the order to destroy all jedi.

You play through the game as Vaders, apprentice. Carrying out his will.. and from all my research the game can go in several directions based on what you do as a character.

With that said. Be sure and check back with my blog for the next week probably as I update you all on how things are going.. Yet keep in mind theres more than likely gonna be some spoilers.. in which event i'll try and make it so you cant read it unless you really wanna. Kinda like this. Just highlight that and you'll be able to read it.

What i do know about the game so far is.. it's not really meant to be a video game. This was created to tie the stories together... to let the Fans see what Vader did. If thier was to be a Star Wars Episode III 1/2, THIS would be it. You basiclly get to "live" that storyline out in this game.. instead of just sitting there watching. This game is also the first ever to Feature (DMM) Digitil Molecular Matter. In short terms.. stuff breaks based on how you hit it.. and never in the same way! Also watch the video on Euphoria. Basiclly brings the characters to life even more then we've seen before.

My Blog on the game will more than likely include but arent limited too, a brief overlay of the story for each level,missions, objectives, location, etc. and what i found out..cool things i do..achievements i get, locations to powerups i find(more on that later after i find out more)

Right after this blog i'll list the achievements by themself. Then as I go i'll list each achievement I get in each writeup, and how i got it(if im for sure lol)!

So keep an eye out.. im gonna have some fun with this.. and it should add to my experiance with the game. I'll try my best to be fair in the review.. Seeing as how i AM a star wars fan im prolly gonna score good with it(im not the freak dress up worship George Lucas fan, but i love the saga), but i'll try and be sure to point out important things.. other than the fact that im a storyline buff, and if its a good story im gonna love the game. I'll score on gameplay, plot, playability, and an overall grade.. may score on some other stuff too we'll see where i go with this.

See ya tomorrrow.. I figure I can take a break every 1-2 levels and do alil something for you guys.. i'll even take notes as i play to better present this so I hope it gets some attention BTW if anyone else wants to do this we can do it together.. that would only add to the greatness ;)

WOW, It's done!!

Well It's Finally finished. My first montage is uploading to youtube.com I type this out. It's 212 MB in size, 8 minutes long, and I even got MOST of the clips in it that I wanted too. Only a few left overs that i'll prolly just throw together in no particular order, just for the sake of having them forever, and uploading to youtube. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. Especially Bioslayer, the dude walked me through several things, and even hooked me up.. so cant thank him enough.

As I said, about 212 MB in files size, and at 1-5 min's per MB(according to Youtube) It should be up in about 45mins to an hour after this blog? I started the upload at about 2:55 PM EST so, It still has a bit. It's just that I gotta do this now cause im only gonna be online for about another hour or so... and I wanted to announce it.

It's not the best by far, but I did take my time, and really tried to do things I wanted, and put it together the way I seen it in my head. But as always sometimes things didnt go as planned so I just made the best of it

I didnt spice it up with buttloads of effects either, because I dont feel like that makes your clips any better....just clip after clip of some pretty nice No scopes, sticks, and some other odds and ends .

Ok thats enough, im not gonna say anything else about it, dont wanna spoil it.. im just excited. The last thing i'll say is WATCH IT TIL THE END. til the video stops.. you'll know the spot... lol

1st Montage on the way!

That's right!! I've been hard at work the last few days, putting together my first montage!! The first day i spent putting it together.. then realized they were way to long, and the files were way to big..but I learned alot about Sony Vegas while playing around like that, and I have 2 films i can watch to see if it played out lol.

But all day today i've been re-working my clips. Trimming them down, and saving them as single files so i can just plug em in when i want to. Gonnna re-work up about a 5-8 minute Montage. And that'll be my first official montage. I'd have to say it should be up and ready to view by the end of the week. And man I have some pretty nice clips.. haha. It's hard to believe i did some of it. I have a few more from last night that ABSOLUTELY need to be in my first montage, so im gonna have to burn them 2nite, and get them onto my PC.

Anyways just wanted to update you all on the progress of my Montage. I know alot of you are looking forward too it. Just bare with me, this is my first time and I want it to look as good as I can make it. It wont be Perfect by no means but I hope to present something very enjoyable.
