Ugh.

I have to fly back to Milwaukee this week to attend a funeral. It really sucks. I'm just in shock. One minute you are here and the next you are gone. No warning what so ever.

Anger at the Drive-thru.

This happened to me at Mc Donalds today.

Mc Donalds Worker - "Welcome to Mc Donalds may I take your order"

Pete- "Hello, can I get a chicken nugget happy meal?"

Mc Donalds Worker- "Im sorry sir, you can not. We are still serving breakfast."

Pete- "What? What time do you serve lunch?"

Mc Donalds Worker- '11:00 sir."

Pete- "Its 10:58."

Mc Donalds Worker- "I'm sorry sir, Lunch is served at 11:00."

So I drive around the Mc Donalds and go back in the drive-thru.

Pete- "Now can I get a chicken nugget happy meal?"

Mc Donalds Worker- "Sure you can. What kind of drink would you like with it?"

Honestly now. Give me a break.

I am no longer thinking about selling my Wii.

Just before I put it up for sale, my daughter found "Go Diego Go" at Best Buy. She did all her homework so I got it for her. I'll be damned if she didn't love that game. She's only 4 but she has already beaten it 3 times. So, I guess I'm stuck with the Wii. I guess there are a lot of games for kids.

Now if only my 360 worked.

I'm thinking about selling my Wii....

It just sits there. I have turned it on maybe twice since April. I'm not sure what to do. I really need to get a new 360. Mine just keeps ejecting dicks. I don't know if I should hold onto the Wii and hope that a game that I enjoy comes out for it. I'm not even sure how much I can get for it.

Out of shape.

I just realized that I am totally out of shape. It's so easy to stop going to the gym every day and putting your hours in. So as of now I have rededicated myself to getting my body fat down to 13%. I am currently at 17%. There are really odd people at the gym. Today I saw one lady that was a total plastic surgery disaster. She looked like some sort of fish monster. Really scary. There was a group of 3 homo-erotic jock guys. All three were wearing wife beaters and had there hair perfectly jelled. I did not see them actually work out to hard. They just kind of lifted light weights and stared at each other. Then there was the really good looking lady with the white pants and the black thong. You could see right through those suckers like they were not there. The only reason why I can see wearing something like that would be to have guys stare at your ass. Anyways, these video's are dedicated to those guys who sit in the locker room and stare at me when I come out of the shower.

Strange Happenings.

Recently me and my ex-wife went out to a club together. As strange as it may seem, I actually had a really good time. Maybe we got together better because there was a lack of expectations. Knowing that I didn't have to put up with her crap. Or worrying about how she would react in social situations. Just in case you were wondering, I have ZERO interest in ever getting back with her. None whatsoever.

I don't know. Is it normal for a person to go out with his ex-wife? She seemed to be okay with me hitting on girls. I really didn't though. It's just kind of strange. I was hoping that she would talk to someone. Instead she was just making fun of two guys with mullets. I hope she moves on. I just doubt she will ever date or get married again.

I'm glad that we have a friendly relationship. It could have ended much worse...

Much to do about nothing.

Not only did Fay not become a hurricane, it did not even come near me. At least I have the day off. It kind of sucks that everything is closed today though. I guess I'll just dick around the house and get some good studying time in. Hell, I may even sneak in a game or two. Thanks to everyone for your concern and thanks to my mother who calls me twice an hour telling me I'm going to die.

I'm ready for the storm. I still have no idea if I have to work tomorrow or not. I signed up to come in if need be. Hazard pay baby! I have enough food and water to last a few days. To bad I don't have "Rock you like a Hurricane" on my pc.

Anyways the forecast changed, moving the center of the storm away from me. . You never know though.

I am on Eee.

I have been searching for a while now to find a laptop that will fit my needs. I just needed something basic for web surfing and writing documents. I didn't need anything to powerful as a have a decent gaming rig desktop. I decided to go with the Eee by Asus. At $400 it was cheaper than most laptops. So I put my order in and got it two days later. Newegg rocks.

When I opened it I just couldn't believe how small this thing is. It's far smaller than any laptop I have ever seen. It weighs a whole 2 pounds. Honestly this thing is unreal. I've been playing with it for two days now, so I have made a list of good and bad things.

Positives

+ Very small size. Smaller than those portable DVD players that you see.

+ Crystal clear screen. Good resolution, No dead pixles, good line of sight, no ghosting

+ Lightweight. About 2 pounds.

+ Runs on Xandros Linux. Screw Microsoft and their bloated overpriced OS.

+ Fast Boot. Only takes about 17-20 seconds to boot.

+ Comes preloaded with a good assortment of programs. Firefox, Open Office, Pidgin, Skype.

+ SSD. Comes with a Solid State Drive for durability and fast loading.

+ Built in Webcam and Mic. Now I can take pictures of myself where ever I go. At 1.3 Mega Pixle It's decent enough.

Negitives

- Small Keyboard. Being a small laptop the keyboard is tiny. I'm a over 60wpm typer with a normal keyboard. Not so much with this one. If you have large fingers forget it. Takes getting used to.

- Batteries Don't last to long. About an hour and a half fully charged.

- Speakers could be better. Not for music.

- The Xandros kernal that it comes with is limited. I much prefer Ubuntu. I may load it into here.

- The SSD has slow write times. But this is the case with most SSD's.

- Installing programs is a pain. Because of Xandros.

- WiFi with WPA2 has issues. This is a known issue. There are command lines that you can change but it still may drop. So far I have had no issues with WEP.

Not for me.

One of the guys I work with took me out to a few bars in Sarasota last night. It just wasn't for me. The ladies were stunning, don't get me wrong. It's just that I'm not a richy rich type guy. I dress fairly well, and I keep myself well groomed(Just ignore my avatar). I just don't wear $500 outfits and act like a total turd.

Does anyone know of any good bars/clubs in the Sarasota/Bradenton area? Something for normal people.

Buy a pair of Aquasox. I guess next on my list is a pair of Zooba's and a fanny pack...

My dilemma.

One of my friends recently came to visit me in Florida. From the moment she walked off the plane I fell for her again. See, I have always had feelings for her. And we had a weird history. But I never expected stuff to happen again. So when they did, I was totally caught off guard. I've had regrets with her. That I never really pursued her. That I married the wrong person. And I've beat myself up for years about her. We had a chance to meet up again last week in Milwaukee. Things were very awkward. She can't get involved with someone who lives 3,000 miles away. I can't say that I blame her. Hell, I feel the exact same way. It just doesn't make it hurt any less.

Where do we go from here?

I don't want to lose her as a friend. I don't know if things are ever going to be the same between us. There is always going to be some kind of tension. I just don't know what to do.

I guess it's time to finally move on from the past. I just can't keep doing this to myself. This Milwaukee vacation made me realize that it is time to move on. I still love my close friends. Pinch, you have always been there for me. And you were right about everything that you told me last night about Heather. Honestly, every fucking thing you said was true. I just wish it was easier. Right now, I'm just a heartbroken mess.

I don't know, I think I'm just going through to many changes. The divorce, move, job, friends, just too much.

I also have decided to stop drinking again. As long as I drink, the only thing that I will be is a drunk.
