I Feel Like I Need To Give Birth

Because I had a damn epidural today for my lower back.  I should feel like I could give birth to a bowling ball but I dont feel anything.

I have been fighting with lower back pain for months now and it's getting worse.  It came down to getting a damn epidural today, wow I guess

I am that bad off.  Oh and who the hell in their right mind prescribes Tylenol 3 for serious back pain?  I need the good stuff damnit, whatever that is.

On a good note I had a blast last night playing GOW2 with my new clan 2Old4Timmy.  Laid back, no pressure, running around like crazy and laughing

was the most fun I have had in a long time.  I have got to get my back better so I can get out and fish again damnit!  Did I tell you I had a freakin

epidural today?  I'm still cringing from that damn needle in my back!  What should I expect?  So now I have had kindey stones and a damn epidural, no wonder I dont have any kids!

Boat Has To Go

Well, my boat is officially on the market. I have it listed at several sites and hope to sell this year. I want to move up to a Robalo R260. We plan on entering tournaments and we really need a Center Console. We have really enjoyed the boat and the family has as well. If anybody is in the market hit me up. We can negoatiate.

11-10-07 Fishing Report

Damn All You Red Snapper!

Well, Red Snapper season closed on October 31st and wouldn't you know it, it was all we caught

all day Saturday.  It's like they new the season was closed.  We caught more Red Snapper Saturday

than we did all year.  Didn't get to fish alot this year with all the bad weather and damn east

winds.

The wife and I headed out Saturday morning to a crisp 68 degrees and a slight 10 kt wind out of

the northeast.  The bay was like glass until the wind picked up.  Finally got through the canal

and started to make our way past the lighthouse and out to deep gulf water.  By this time we were

looking at 2-3 footers and getting rougher the further we rode south.  We get to our spot after a

20 mile boat ride and try to anchor to drift back on our reef.  The current is so strong and the

wind is about 15 kts now.  After 1 1/2 hours of trying to get hooked up we finally get hooked and

drift right on top of the reef.  The chartplotter is like a christmas tree showing all the reef

structure and fish are everywhere.  I check the radar screen and not a boat in sight.  We cut are

bait and drop down to about 105' to bottom.  Fish on!  We started to catch Snapper every time we

dropped a bait.  We tried in the upper water column but damn Snapper are there too.  We could not

get through the Snapper to get to the Vermillion or Triggerfish.  Not even an AJ could bust on

the baits because the Snapper was so thick.

It was a good day I guess.  We caught fish, the weather was beautiful, and it was probably the

last trip of the year as it's starting to turn cold here.  If there is a good day then I will

probably go if everything pans out right with the weather and seas.  No pictures of the trip but

next year I'll be updating my blog for every trip and make sure I take pictures of the fish for

everyone.

WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS?

My Saints are going to the NFC Championship game for the first time in team history.  I'm so happy for the whole organization.  I hardly slept a wink last night as I was so overwhelmed with excitement.  i've been a lifelong Saints fan and it's so wonderfull to see these guys playing as a team and believing in each other.  That's what Sean Payton has brought to this team, accountability and teamwork.  We had guys under various coaches that wouldn't run with a lesser squads and guys saying this is my job and your not taking it from me.  We even had one guy who had a damn recliner in front of his locker.  Well, those guys are no longer here thanks to Sean Payton.  For all the crap that we have been through down here in the last coulpe of years it's good to have something like this to bring everyone together and celebrate.  GEAUX SAINTS!

Another Great Halloween

Since my wife and I have no kids and have no plans on having any, we use Halloween as our once a year bash for all the kids in our family. Each year grows a little more with more decorations and more food and more people and kids it seems. And every year murphy likes to raise his little ugly head and see what havok he can cause. This year we had a few kids that could not make it because of illness and last year we spent the night in the emergency room as my wife is apparently allergic to costumes. She breaks out into hives really bad and starts itching like crazy. Happened again this year but do to just holding one of the kids that was wearing a costume, luckily no hospital visit this time. We bought about 10 bags of candy and handed out about 90% of it, our neighborhood is a trick or treater magnet and they bring them in by the truck loads. Here are a few pictures of the kids and one of our neighbors that get into the spirit as well. It was a great night and the kids had a blast.
