Bought a new TV

Well, my wife got a promotion today, she is now a supervisor, and it even comes with a big payraise YIPEEE!!

So she told me I could go buy a new TV as I have been looking for ages now waiting for the year end sales.   Looks like they knew what was coming as I picked up a 50" Sony SXRD for uh..cheap, Sony & BB were 400 more in store for the same TV here in Canada.  I can't freaking wait to play games on it and watch movies.  October 10th is circled on my calender

And I get to put it in my new games room downstairs (ie: the basement suite since we aren't renting it out) which even has a full size beer fridge. What else could a guy ask for?  And no, not a sexy woman as I already got one of those

I'm soooo brain dead

I am procrastinating at the moment.  I have a 3.5 hour exam tomorrow and just can't get up the brain power to go study for it.  In the last week I only took Sunday off from studying for it.  Yesterday I did over 6 hours.  I even took 2 days off of work to study, well, our contract says I am allowed to so I did.

At least I am still getting gaming in at night after the kid goes to sleep if I don't go to the gym.

Can't wait until Thursday to play some R6V with the clan, and hopefully even have a beer.

Tired of waiting...

First off I am finally biting the bullet and going to watch Transformers tonight.  It's one of my sister in laws birthday today so I figure I'll take her since none of her and my friends want to go or they have already seen the movie.

Well I got sick of waiting for my 360 and went out and bought a Nintendo DS.  Gives me something to do at work on weekends or nights.  Wasn't able to pick up any games for it as the kid was starting to fuss so I didn't have time to look.  I'll try tomorrow since the wife is going to a mom and babies purse party.  Yes, the closet is full of bags and purses...and shoes.

I also called Microsoft about my 360 today since I haven't had it since June 18th.  According to the person I could barely understand (not necessarily because of an accent but because of how loud it was in the background with chatter, which she apologized for) it has been repaired and I should have it back within 2 weeks...2 weeks?!?!?! C'mon, gimmie a break.  On the web site it now says no pending repair, guess my phone call worked.  She added 1 month to my live subscription, even though it ends in like 2009 already.  For now I am done whining about my 360 and need some cheese.  I just want it working properly when halo 3, GTA 4 and Mass Effect come out.

Still no 360

Well, as you can tell from my last blog post to now its been a while without my 360.  Last night I had enough and called them to see what was going on.  Well it just got into the service center.  So it took 3 weeks to go from the loading dock to the service center, wow somethings wrong there.  All they would tell me is that the new one should be sent out on Monday.  Yeah right, I'll believe it when I see it.  Good thing I was on vacation for 2 weeks of the 4 and a half it has been gone, and heck, only 3 people have dropped off my friends list, so that can't be too bad right?
