OMG, Its Obama and he wants my guns...

Welp, a blog....my first. I am sure it will be recieved with open arms...

First off, I like this site, I liked it a little more before things like religion and politics came into question. I made a bunch of friends, and had some of the best times of my gaming life with some of you. This passed year, I’ve had to defend points of view based on religion, politics, halo....heh. So, needless to say Ive sort of given up with participation on the site. I read from time to time....but when I get PMs saying that I am mentally or physically deficient based on religious or political standpoints....I tend to lean towards not posting or reading.

However with this new craziness with the now day old election, maybe we can all get along again....gaming is gaming. I played hockey all of my life, and I never seemed to get into arguments over either of those things before. I thought to myself, now that its over we can sort of mesh again....but its almost like its even further away now. So here it is...no further a due...

Religion? I am an atheist. Yep....Going to Hell...or something. I do not believe a talking snake tricked Eve into betraying Adam, and "God". I believe in Carl Sagan, for he was real. It’s fine that you or anyone buy into any tale of your choice. I do not. I have read the Bible (King James), I have read most of the Quran...and other religious fictions. For those of the very religious, I beg of you to read the bible more, if you haven’t completed it.

I have met so many “selective” Christians’. For they, interpret the bible to fit their daily sins. Sodomy and Substance abuse is fine. God forgives, while Satan tempts and eludes. Systems of success.

Politics?...I am a sort of a conservative on issues dealing with immigration, and defense. I believe that we should tighten borders and be the world power we can be. I liked, and voted Obama. I was not one of his fans, I do not get misty-eyed when he speaks... I do not believe he can fly or heal people on Sabbath. He reminds me of Apple Inc. I like the product, and the OS is nice, but I don’t think they are perfect. They’re expensive, and have the benefit of being proprietary.......you wouldn’t know that from talking to their "fans" though. Much like Obama's.

Gaming? Well....Halo mostly, Portal was insane....I am sort of lacking on games I can get into. I think Gears is cool, great graphically....oh, and flippin mirros edge! CHeck that Demo out. I think I own 4 games total. I serioulsy think developers need to release a good solid title if they want my 60 bucks. Skate was also SICK!

So now that you hate me even more, maybe we can get some Halo in. Hehe....

That’s why I came here, to game with you. So if you want to hate on Obama, me, Carl Sagan, Palin, Biden, McCain.....have at it. It won’t help your Halo game. I can. Shooting each other in the face I am sure is fine in your gods eyes.

In closing, Ill inject my rebuttal to alot of the blogs, and the title of mine. Obama isn’t taking your guns. Look it up. (not on the NRA site, somehow they have mistaken themselves for a news agency, much like Fox or MSNBC have with being "Fair and Balanced". Pulling misquoted context from 04 is easy, they did it to McCain countless times in the passed weeks.
