Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey there again, I dont get to do these very often, but I figured now would be as good a time as any.

First off I want to say :

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I hope everyone has a good one with their friends and family.
And to be safe if your traveling.

Second....It's snowing!!!  For a lot of you this may not be that big of deal, but snow on Thanksgiving in West Texas...RARE.

Also, I want to say I've been having a great time playing with my 2 new clans.

Great bunch of people in both clan and i can finally say my Friends List is almost FULL

Lastly,  i picked up Rock Band this week, and it has been a blast on soo many levels. 
My son (7) and daughter (4) want to sing while my wife and i take turns drumming and guitaring.
I can't wait till Christmas when we can get more of the family  on this game.

Again Happy Turkey day , Hope your bellies are full and your frags are a plenty.

Been a While...

Well how about this for a twist of fate?  My wife has gone out of town with my kids and the Mother-in-law. 
On a good note, i get the house all to myself for about 8-10 days, not a bad deal. 
But, get this, my wife calls today so i can help get her numbers for a hotel in Chicago, now she is staying in the Wyndham at O'Hare.
That's right, and she will be there till possibly thursday or friday.  How ironic is that?  I've been talking about the trip all year, and do to other circumstances (ie money )
I'm not gonna get to go, but she is there.   They actually went for a funeral and to visit family, so i'm not that upset i had to stay.

On a good note, i picked up another job to really get a good push on my money things, and my first night was Saturday.  I'm barbacking at a local bar.
But Saturday was one of the big outdoor concerts that they have during the summer, so it was pretty good music, Seth James, Chute Nine, and Aaron Watson
(if you like country) and lots of alcohol, none for me, but i still got paid to hear them sing.  WOOT!!
Ended up being a really late night/morning, but it was a pretty good time.

Maybe next year i will be making it to the LAN, and hey, my wife can give me directions this time.

Hope everyone has a great time at the LAN and I'm sure the stories will be abundant on the forums, I cant wait to see.

PS...she said they got a pizza tonight from a place fairly close to the hotel and said "Chicago Style Pizza" really is the shit!!
If ya'll have any good suggestions for them while they are in the Windy City Drop me a line so i can make sure they have fun while they are there.
btw...my kids are with her and they are 7 and 3. So make it age appropriate

First Blog

Well here it is, My FIRST Blog.  I thought I would keep it simple this time since that is usually best. 
West Texas usually does not have alot to offer, but one thing it does have is AWESOME sunsets, even in the middle of December.
This is what i got to see from the porch at work tonight, and I thought I should share.  So enjoy.
