Our Clan team is putting up $1 per round we lose in Guardian in a best of ten match.

Your Clan team can 1. match our donation, or 2. Donate $1 for every round you lose. If you choose the latter, we will match you!

Standard settings, your choice of match, your host! We are challenging up to 5 teams for a possible donation of $100!

Please contact nomodifier via PM or post here if you have a Clan team to challenge us and let me know what time slot you want. We will play approx 1/2 hour to accommodate all teams. After a half an hour, we'll forfeit the match to keep things moving.

DirecTv Sucks!

I have been a loyal DirecTv customer for over 10 years.
That said I warn everyone to stay away from that company unless you have tons of money to piss away!
Don't get me wrong, thier programming is outstanding but, thier hardware, warranties, and cust service blows!
10 months ago I paid over $200 for a HD DVR from DirecTv. Now it takes over 10 sec. to change the channel or bring up the guide. After dealing with cust service making me reset my reciever numerous times they told me they would send me a new reciever for $99 plus $30 shipping. WTF? A piece of electronics that cost me over $200 is only under warranty for 3 months? Not to mention I had to sign a 2 year contract to get the reciever for $200 instead of the $400 they wanted to upgrade my existing service!
I have long been a supporter of DirecTv, but no longer, I am here to tell you to stay away from this evil corporation that only wants your money and nothing else.

I have two Xbox 360s, a piece of hardware known for failing. Say what you will about Microsoft but they took a one year warranty and extended it for 3 years! This is impressive in todays day and age. Microsoft has done many things wrong but, at least they stepped up to the plate when push came to shove! I only bring this up to say that more companies should take a lesson from them in this aspect and if I didn't say it earlier DirecTv sucks! Please, for your own good stay away!

GTA IV

Well I sent it back to Gamefly today. I really didn't have much interest in playing it but, I knew everyone and their brother would be playing so I figured I would try it out.

I actually enjoyed Crackdown a lot, Just Cause was ok and Mercenaries on Xbox180 was great! I've never played a GTA before so I was expecting something similar. Wow what a letdown! I personally think all of the above games were better than this. The single player in GTA is very linear, yea you can do whatever you want but not if you want to progress the story. Strike one: very linear.

Graphics are ok, NOT spectacular. maybe they are just amazing compared to previous GTAs. Anyways controls definetly need improving and the same for the game saves. Strike two:controls and graphics

Storyline, what can I say? it sucked. not to mention it feels like it was written by a fourteen year old timmie. I don't mind cuss words being used appropriately but, thrown in every other word! just stupid and childish! Strike three:story

My conclusion: this game is only really popular because it is "taboo" or "pushes the limits" for content. Personally this game ranks right with BMX XXX, the Guy Game, or the Playboy game. Geared for and made popular by teenage boys.

Let the hate mail begin!

After all the time wasted with this game I will be gladly waiting for Crackdown2 or better yet Mercs 2!

Holy Cow!

My wife and I finally got up the courage to try the Endless Setlist on Rockband. There are a few songs we can't beat on Hard, and with 58 songs in the list we decided to go Medium. We had no problem beating it but, Holy Cow 58 songs is a lot! My eyes and my fingers were very tired after that. I can't remember for sure but it took somewher between 5 and 6 hours to finish. It was a blast though! Hardest I ever worked for 10 achievement points!

Lego Master Chief

My son is 8 years old and very creative and artistic. I showed him a you tube video of a professional Lego builder doing a master chief, so he went in the playroom and came out less than an hour later with this!

2old2play SW LAN Phoenix

We had a LAN here in Phoenix over the weekend. I thought you guys might want to see some pics and think about going next year. Phoenix is wonderful in February!

Sorry guys, I had to leave my house at 5:30 Mon. morning to be in Prescott Valley for the week (a 2 hour drive). I just got home today and had a chance to upload pics. Great to meet all of you and put faces to names. After seeing Jays pics I'm worried that he has a man crush on me since I seem to be in all his pics!

Midnight Crazieness

I pre-ordered my copy of Halo 3 from Circuit City which didn't open until 10am this morning. I went to fire up Bioshock last night but, when I logged on I had about 30 peeps on my friends list already playing Halo 3! Now I just moved from Michigan (EST) to Arizona(PST) so most of my east coast friends already were playing the game before it was even available out here! That is when the Halo bug bit me. I knew a friend of mine (USMC1) was going to be waiting in line at Gamestop right down the street so, I hopped in my truck and went to see what was going on. I got there about 11pm and there were about 150 people in line already. After a few minutes of searching I found my friend who was about 20th in line. I think he had been there since 8:30 or so. We hung out and waited for 12:01. Not too exciting, about quarter to 12 two timmies came running through the mall wearing some of the crappiest looking MC outfits made of cardboard and duct tape! lol I wish I had my camera phone with me but I forgot it in my rush to get to the mall.

Not very exciting but I just thought I would share my experience and see if any of you had stories to tell of your wait in line!

Diamondbacks

So I went to my first sporting event in AZ. Company field trip to a Diamondbacks game. First time for a NL game. I'm from Michigan and follow the Detroit Tigers which are AL, so I wasn't all that interested in the game. Then I found out ame earlierthat they were playing the SF Giants, cool at least I will get to see Barry Bonds. But Noo! he stubbed his toe in a game earlier this week! Wimp! The D'Backs won 5 to nothing pretty easily.

Anyways very different experience going to a game in AZ. They had the roof closed when we got there and the AC cranking? I know it was 98 degrees outside but, it just didn't feel right watching a ball game indoors with the AC set to 75. Much to my relief about ten minutes before the game they opened the roof, which was pretty cool to watch. Still it was better but it felt like the difference between a sunroof and a convertible.

I will miss Comerica Park back in Detroit! Oh well!

Arcade Games

Well I've found myself playing a lot of arcade games lately. That is because I can play with my kids over Xbox Live and we can chat or video chat, which is really cool. It helps with being away from them for now.That said I'm sorry to the people on my friends list because this has seriously cut into my multiplayer time. That is good though because when Halo 3 drops I might forget that I have RL friends and family!

Well I made it to Arizona! It's 109 degrees today.

I'm just getting settled into my room and am going shopping in a few minutes.

I had a brief orientation today, but tomorrow is my first full day of work!

Last Day

Yesterday was my last day with my old company. Hallelujah!

I took today off to spend with my family so this will be quick.

I leave for Chandler, Arizona tomorrow morning to start my new job! I am so excited! I just wanted to share and ask for your prayers for my trip and for my family who will be staying in Michigan for another month or two.

Work Sucks!

The day after the LAN !

I soooo wanted to get up at 10am this morning and play games with my friends until 3am! Oh well back to reality!

The LAN was a blast! I wish I had gotten there early Fri. or even on Thur.

It was great to meet everyone from Doodi, Dsooth, Phreaks, SyS, and of course Mike James who sucks at Wii golf as bad as I do! JollyRoger it was great to see you, Stacey and of course Megan! You guys made my weekend! And of course all my friends I play with online rufstuf, was great to meet you, wish you would've come back on Sat. ,Stryker, Relic, Taxi (You Suck at poker!), Bluestar, NoGame, BigOne, Waaaay too many to list. I don't mean to leave anyone out. Lots of people I didn't know or just kinda knew. Last but not least my clan PPC (sorry guys I didn't have a shirt!) Banjo (you really don't need any more achievement points!), Sharp, who would beat people at guitar Hero playing with his teeth! EC300 thanks for introducing me to Forza 2, and mostly Last man standing, that was a blast.

I had such a good time, I would challenge every member of this site to try to make the LAN next year or at least find a smaller 2o2p LAN near you. You would be surprised at how much fun you have and what great relationships you develop! I hope to be able to make it next year and look forward to seeing you all again!
