Goodbye BETA

I was not that thrilled with the Halo Beta when I first played it. I played a couple of times a week for the first two weeks but then it started to grow on me and I played more and more the last week. I even stayed up playing till 3am EST on Sun. night because it was the last day, even though I had to get up to go to work at 6:30 Mon. morning. I am definetly a little sad that it is gone and feel a little void in my gaming schedule. I didn't even turn on my Xbox for two days after the Beta ended. September seems a long way off. I sure hope there aren't any delays in this game release. Wait, what am I thinking? Microsoft will release the game anyway and then patch it right! That's the way to do things. (shakes head)

Go Tigers!

What an awesome game last night! Justin Verlander pitched a no hitter with only three balls leaving the infield all night! Last time a Tiger pitched a no hitter was Jack Morris in '84. The Tigers then went on to win the World Series! Here's Hoping!

Blog Update

Finally had a few minutes to update the pictures on my blog. With kids, they change so fast you can't keep up with the pictures! New pictures and a little new style to my blog, not bad!

Just bought my ticket to the Chicago LAN. I am very excited! Last year the LAN was the same weekend as my 10 th wedding anniversary. This year it is the weekend after my anniversary, Woot! I can't wait! I will be driving from Michigan, hopefully with a friend, but it's only a 6 hour drive anyway.. Too bad Halo 3 won't be out in time. I have been playing the Beta, and I have to say it's good but It's not mind blowing good. I hope the full game is a little more awesome. I am definetly looking forward to the co-op campaign. That has come to be my favorite feature of such games as Gears of War, Rainbow 6, and Graw 2. I just wonder how firm they are on the release date!

Site News!

So yesterday as I was scarfing some dinner and surfing the internet in the few minutes I have at home, before I go off to school. I read an email from Gamefly saying that they were opening up an east coast dist. center. So I quickly scoured 2o2p for any posts or informantion on this. None found. So I quickly (like I said I don't have much time) wrote up a little news brief and submitted it to site news. Never done this before, so I thought I would give it a try. Lo and behold there it is when I get home the next day top of the site page! Very cool! English and composition were my absolute worst subjects in school, so I assumed Doodi or whoever gets it would reword it or rewrite it with the information I gave, but no ther it is in all it's glory just the way I submitted it. So I guess I'm a little better at composition than when I was in school. Anyways high point of the week for me!
