Whinefest

I am having a hard time realizing how many people out there aren't truly happy unless they are complaining about something. Also, those who continually dive in and feel the need to rip on people for the sake of ripping. I go and make controversial statements about religion, politics, etc. and then cry because there are actually people out there who don't agree with me? Holy shit... really? Let me put my thoughts out there in a public forum and expect everyone to agree... especially the trollers who just get their rocks off by arguing about the color of the sky. My blog only got a 2 rating? People out there don't like me? but I have important stuff to share that will change your mindset just by reading how insightful mine are. Listen, the two party system will continue to be corrupt due to the nature of the system. With only two parties that continually have a legitimate shot at winning elections, they can afford to continue corruption for lack of competition, since the sheep continue to vote only Red or Blue and for who the TV tells me to without actually researching all of the candidates. "Well, I won't vote for them, because they really don't have a chance." Stick to horse races.

There, I changed your mind didn't I? No? Crazy. Now, don't make any comments about how you disagree with my logic, because I'll cry.

My Wii won't work anymore.

My daughter put a disc in with a sticker on it. The disc went in and the sticker stayed in. Now, I know I can take the Wii apart, but would I have access to get into the drive without screwing it up or am I better off just taking it in somewhere or sending it to Nintendo.

On a personal note, don't take little girls to the store to buy sporting equipment. I thought it would be fun to take Catti-brie, my 6 year old, to go get her soccer equipment... holy handgrenade Batman, did that blow up in my face. Flargin pink EVERTHING...

Back in the Saddle

Things have gotten back to normal a little more now. I am able to get on and game quite a bit, and didn't realize how much fun I'd been missing. Its nice to have a bunch of yahoos out there like myself to help escape reality now and again and just shoot each other in the face or bounce grenades off each others heads and teamkill. My 6 year old, Catti-brie has started to get into Guitar Hero 2 a lot more and is getting pretty good, which is neat. We can sit down and play together on something that her sister won't (usually) grab and break up the game like a board or card game. I haven't blogged much, because I usually do on sportingnews to complain about Wisconsin sports team, but am now involved on a fantasy team from within, so maybe I can post about how my fantasy baseball team sucks. Go Brewers!

On the Road

Well, I know I've never been the most active fellow here, but its hard with a 6 year old and a 2 year old to be as active as I'd like. I also have had some marital issues and have been staying at a friend's house for a month or so. The wife and I are on decent terms but she's been bartending and not always coming home. I honestly feel that she's just drinking a lot, but you always here rumors and its hard not to believe them. So, for now, I have the box down in the unfinished basement that I stay in. At least I have that to pass the time while we work on things. I don't have internet in the dungeon, so that's why I'm not running around kicking ass on CoD 4 and jumping on mines or tearing ass on a motorcycle like I did on CoD 3. I also miss shooting needles in my patriots asses and bringing them back to life. Until I'm back from the dead, take care all. I can only get on the computer once in a great while.

Introductions

To be honest, I'm not sure what to post about here. I post a ton on sporting news, being an avid sports fan, but in a game site...hmmmm. Well, for starters, I'll just post about me, and then those of you who don't like me, then you don't have to come back. I'm 33, have a wife and 2 daughters, 2 and 5. I grew up with only brothers, so having two little girls is weird, very weird. I had a friend once put it into good perspective. He mentioned that with him and I growing up with only male siblings that girls ended up only really being seen as sexual objects, in particular their nether regions, which is why is was soooooo weird to change a diaper, because at first you feel dirty. Now, its not a big deal of course, but for the kid, it was creepy for awhile. They are great kids of course, but a handful, like I'm sure most children are.

I teach EBD kids at an Alternative School for those who've been kicked out of middle school and high school. For those who don't know, law requires schools to provide an education to special ed. kids, no matter what... at least in some form. So basically, I'm an educational half way house. If they are not successful here, they many times go to jail or a mental institution, or neutral site where a teacher meets with them once a week and gives them the materials for the following week. I think I had good training for this job as a telemarketer part time through college. You get told to f#%@ off a lot in that job, and quite a bit as an EBD teacher. You learn to detach quickly, or you don't succeed in this field.

Interests are of course in vids. However, I also like to golf and play softball. I'm hitting the age where I really don't like running around too much. I played a lot of baseball, football, and basketball back in the day, seems way back. So now, I follow almost all Wisconsin sports teams instead of still trying to go out there and do it myself.

I will have more interesting posts in the future, but I figured introductions were in order.
