Halo Section 3 cover base color

Been so busy doing comic character sketches lately I have been neglecting my first love, Halo art!! So its time for some new Halo stuff. My next installment of DKS is almost finished. I am actually trying to get 2 ready for one post kind of a double header. Ok those of you paying attention will remember that i posted up the pencils for this piece a long time back. V10L3N7_JAY asked me to create a comic book cover similar in style to the Dark Knight Spartan cover I did for the Halo 3 launch. He wanted it to be of the main character in his UNSC Section 3 online Halo comic. So Step #1 was the pencils previously posted here at the Blog. I recently completed step #2, taking the pencils to color. This image will make for the base of the comic cover. Now I have to design the header, the logo and any type bursts. I'll be trying to do this in a retro style again like the Dark Knight Spartan cover. I bit of a homage to the classic comic covers of years past. So enjoy!
