Who Am I?

I'm not a very prolific blogger, which will likely become obvious in the coming weeks and months. I hope to spend a lot of time playing games with you all, though, so I figured the least I can do is offer a brief introduction.

So, my real name is Justin. I'm currently living in San Francisco where I work as a senior editor for GameSpot.com. I'm originally from England (Bolton Wanderers fan), but I've been living in the US for about 3.5 years now. My job more or less requires me to spend time playing all of the consoles and handhelds, but I'd have to say that my Xbox 360 is definitely the one that takes up the most of my free time right now.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the only game that I'm playing online much right now, but offline I'm also playing Mass Effect, DiRT, Forza Motorsport 2, Halo 3, and Assassin's Creed. Games sat in my really-should-play-this-soon pile at the time of writing include BioShock, Tomb Raider Anniversary, and Eternal Sonata. Most anticipated games for 2008 (apologies for turning this into a list) are Bully: Scholarship Edition, Grand Theft Auto IV (of course), Haze, and Burnout Paradise

So yeah, I play a lot of games. Work and girlfriend commitments rarely afford me as much time as I'd like to beat them all, but I do what I can. I was actually making pretty good progress through my games pile until COD4 came along with its kickass multiplayer.
