But one thing I totally don't get. Why does no one want to ever play the goalie.

I heard some call it boring.

Obviously they have not been in the net in a 0-0 shutout with 5 minutes remaining while your team is shorthanded.

Seriously, sure, I could skate around the ice, dancing twirl designs from blue line to blue line, but that's for fairy wingers and lollipop centers.

At least Defensivemen take pucks to the face once in a while.

In any case, I'm having a ball with the game, Goaltending fucking rocks.

Only slight issue I've had so far in the online games is little patches of freeze lag is a nightmare while in net.
