Another LAN Blog...

I don't really have a ton of time to write up a nice in depth blog about the LAN as others have already done. When I got back from Chicago, I was informed I had 3 12 hour work days to look forward to. That being the case, I'll just be brief.

1. It's been said a hundred times, but thanks to Doodi, Smooth, Phreak, Smoke, Taxi, NoGame, Rau and probably several other people who put this on and help organize various ascpects of the LAN. All your hard work is very appreciated.

2. Mike James is the hottness. That dude is just so cool with everyone whose around him. I had the good fortune of being able to hang out with him a bit more this year then in year's past and I look forward to more MJ next year.

3. Big thanks to BanjoCut, EC300 (or mini-Banjo as I like to call him) and Sharpshooter for taking me along for the ride to the top of the Rock Band Tourney. Unfortunately, it didn't end until after 2 am so by the time it was over I think everyone just wanted to get to bed in preperation for the travel home on Sunday. As a result I didn't really get a chance to properly thank NG and Rau for setting up and running the tourney and to the LAN organizers for the great prize we recieved for taking first place.

4. JeepChick is more then meets the eye.

5. When it comes to Halo skillz, mine peaked in Halo:CE.

6. Thanks to Icey for letting me bum Mt. Dew off of her all weekend. I wouldn't have made it through that last set without you.

7. Your friendly neighborhood Big0ne will be the first 2 time guest on Phreaks n Geeks. Be sure to catch it.

8. Everything you've suspected about Peepshow is probably true.

9. Tait really needs an intervention. Starbucks should not be that necessary for sustaining life.

10. I think I actually made it back this year without having lost anything! A LAN first.

11. I enjoyed a great breakfast with Guntag. A really cool guy.

12. I mostly played Rock Band non-stop all weekend and loved every minute of it. I got to jam with several people and I wish I could remember everybody who I got to play with. If you send me a FR, I'll definately get online to play more RB any time.

13. Last but not least.....Only Banjo could break an unbreakable drum pedal. It's not really that broken, a quick adjustment once I got home and everything seems to be just fine.

14. I actually got to talk to TDrag this year instead of just run from her shotgun.
