Diablo II is much better than D1 in every aspect. Especially if you have the lord of destruction expansion. You might want to pick it up..it's pretty cheap now I would imagine. Also there are a shit-ton of mods for it as well.

as of this posting, I am re-installing D2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion.
