Writing Sample

I'm in consideration for a position with another company.  It's work similar to what I've done before, but they threw an interesting twist at me.

Basically I'll be doing some quantitative analysis, cost estimation, blah blah blah.  All numbers.  but they asked me for a writing sample.  Other than the inane stuff I post here (all not appropriate mind you) I have no clue what to provide for a writing sample.  Anyone have a similar experience or suggestions?

send them a stool sample instead

I bet they would think it is as funny as I do, if not you can write an apology letter as the sample

win, win

Pick your favorite paragraph from Manson's Autobiography and copy it.

Lift someone else's article and pass it as your own. Jonah Falcon has been doing that for years.

Tell them you are too busy chatting in google on posting on the forums to do that.

I'll tell them that after the offer letter.

You must have some kind of work related document you can provide them with any details redacted out.
