Megan update and buttons

Well things have been pretty busy around the Cochran household. We had a nice weekend with a lot of my family that came to visit from Tennessee. We started over at our house and then migrated over to my parents and I believe there were 17 of us at one time. It was a great time!! One of my niece's has a little girl that is a little younger than Megan and man they had a great time. At one time they were sitting in their chairs talking to eachother in there own little language. It was priceless!

You guys have to check out the photos. We are going to post a couple of new ones. They are having technical difficulty with it right now but as soon as it is working I will upload them. One is of Megan sleeping with her sweet dog Toby. She LOVES him!!! The other is of a new belly belt Megan has. My amazing and talented friend Michelle made this for her. Tricia, our nurse, and I had been trying to figure out something to fix to put around Megan that would hold her tube more in place. It ends up just rubbing up against her skin all the time and then bleads because it gets so raw. Well, Michelle knew exactly what we were talking about and made two for her. She loves them and they are so comfortable on her.

Megan has had some good days and bad nights as usual. Sunday, Megan was feeling pretty miserable when we got home from church. She perked up a little that night though. Monday started out good but by mid afternoon she literally had grey and had dark circles under her eyes. She slept a lot yesterday but she probably needed it. I took her to the doctor on Friday and they said that she has a viral infection but you just have to wait it out, as usual.

So we have this new painting in our house. It is of Jesus hanging on the cross. You really can not look at it without getting chills. Right now we have it leaning up against the wall until my parents come over today to help us hang it. So yesterday morning I bring Megan downstairs and she looks at the picture. She says, Good morning Jesus! Did you have a good nights sleep? Did you sleep tight? Ok, Jesus, I love you. Give me a hug . She hugs him. Kiss? Gives him a little kiss. And nose? She rubs noses with him, and then goes on about her business. Megan had a sweet little quiet time with Him. It was so amazing and so simple. Sometimes I think we as adults make it too difficult. I know I do.

Prayer requests? Well let's see, pray for Megan and this little virus. This is what she had back in May and we all know what happened then. Hopefully she will be able to fight it off. We are in the midst of getting a new bed for Megan. Please just pray that the right one is found that is made just for Megan and her special needs. Pray for the boys as they both have colds. Jimmie has actually lost his voice completely. It's sad but he does sound super cute. Oh, his teacher called yesterday to tell us that he is doing fantastic in school! Pray for Jim, myself and my brother Chris as we are dealing with some serious issues with my dad. I am not going to go into details but if anyone knows someone who is a lawyer that deals this kind of stuff. I will tell you that he is trying to leave the state but that is not nearly all of it. Please contact me and I will fill you in. It's pretty bad and I am afraid we have run out of options. Continue to pray for Megan, especially at night time. She is having a lot of pain some nights along with night terrors. Those two do NOT make a good combination. Thank you guys so much!!! We love you and God Bless!!!
