AMQ : What is worse than car shopping?
A: Getting a new cell phone.
I fskn' hate cell phone shopping. The wife and I went cell phone shopping for mothers day. The bill? $593ish. Really, 600 bucks for 2 phones? Mine being $150? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! My a.d.d. was kicking in and I wasn't paying attention so the wife took over and the sales monkey took advantage. He loaded her up with a bunch of shit we (don't) need and I can't wait to check the plan that asshole set us up with for 2 years. We went this morning and returned over 4 bills of crap and got her the same phone I got that cost her $100 with a $50 mail in crapbate. F you in the A , verizon. The best part was the asshole that sold her all that crap was working bright and early this morning. Sorry for your loss, ass.
Sorry if you sell phones, just be honest with customers. BTW, the phone she got was really nice, just sucked for it's prime function, making F#CKING calls.

Why didn't you just get her a 'smart'phone , it's a phone and pda in one device, saves carrying around a bunch of electronic shit. Once i went smartphone, i sold my organizer, old cellphone and ipod on ebay. 1 device to rule them all.

We looked at the smartphones, I can't stand crap that tries to be everything. It usually ends up doing nothing well. She wants a new phone every 2 years or so and I'm not buying an extra $20-30 a month for "services" that she'll never use. The phone and pda are still smaller than the daytimer that filled her purse and combined cost less than the smartphone she wanted.

Yeah, the last time I went phone shopping I let the sales guy give me all the accessories etc, as he wouldn't let up when I said no.
When he dropped me off with the checkout person, I had her remove everything from the order except my phone. Boy, was he pissed when he overheard what I was doing. And he thought he mopped up!
