Saturday morning protest and whatever

I am protesting today!  No gym!  Very unusual, cuz Saturday is my do or die day for the gym.  It 's the day I weigh in and do my whole regimen...treadmill and weight circuit.  Well, I missed last Saturday cuz I was at the LAN.  Now I feel lazy and I've got a headache!  Hmmm, those headaches are getting to be more and more often.  Drugs usually work.  What do I have???? 

w00t!  BBB is back from wherever he was and I got to "play" with him last night.  Well, not really.  "Good" PC crashed and it's being fixed, so oooold, slowwww, PC was his only choice.  So, we just got to chat.  Joe is back from fishing, too.  Great pics, hollywood.  I guess I embarrassed my secret pal sufficiently.  Got an email from him, too!  Possible visit from Dave in a couple months.  Life is good!

It occurs to me that almost all of my friends are men.  Yeh, I think I have talked about this before.  But I like men!  I was raised in a large, dysfunctional family.  Well, dysfunctional is relative, I guess.  I was the baby.  My older sister, the paranoid schizophrenic, raised me, but it was my brothers that were there for me.  I hung out with them and learned to play with the big boys right from the start.  3 out of 6 of my brothers and sisters have either a physical or mental disability.  It was normal for my "playmate" to be my mentally retarded sister with a "mental age" of 6.  We played cards and board games endlessly.  I always said she was my favorite little sister, and she would pout and say "i'm your BIG sister".  True dat.  My oldest sister had polio when she was 8 years old.  The rest of us were immunized, but, it was too late for her.  She is a paraplegic.  That, too, seemed normal to me.  So, like I said, dysfunctional is relative.  I saw it as normal.....

Back to friends.  I have said before, I am a better friend to others than they are to me.  Why?  Dunno.  Prolly cuz I am willing to give my all, and they aren't.  My real life social circle is pretty small.  I have Beth and Michelle.  Good friends that I work with.  Beth is nuts, and we are soooo alike.  Weird to see someone acting like me, but sooo much more over the top!  I luv her.  Michelle tells me all her secrets.  I luv her, too.  Especially cuz now I know all her secrets.  The rest?  There's my daughter, her hubby and my 2 gbabies.  Really luv them!  Then, there is this website, 2old2p....especially my clannies.  I never knew I would make such great friends with so many MEN!  Again, I luv men.  Y'all know who you are!  And gals, Jeepy, Meemoos, Icey, and the others, sorry not to mention everyone! 

Where is this going?  Hell, I dunno.  Just feeling a little whimsical this morning.  So, mood for the day...
