Buyer beware ?

So i recently Purchased a 26 inch Samsung TV for the Bedroom as a Tv / PC Monitor / Gaming Screen. And come in August I'm getting a 50 incher for the Living Room. So as I made the purchase on the 26 on Amazon.com Minutes ago. I figured, ah what the Hell, maybe I'll get a Blu Ray Player too. So I started searching for Blu Ray Players. And as to my surprise I was finding alot of complaints on there Product Reviews for the Players. I came apon one review that stated NOT to BUY a Blu Ray until of Dec 08. He states that this is when new upgraded Players hit the Market and all other Players on store Shelves at that time, will be Obsolete.

I'm not saying its true I'm sure there are many of you out there that know whats going on and can enlighten all of us. But I thought I would Post this so that we can all be aware and not get screwed once we bought one. Below is a Link to what the Reviewer was talken about when it came to buying Players in Dec.

He also stated that the only Player that will not have any issues, is the PS3, Since it is Future proof.
