Grounded
I am out of work today and to be working from home. My boss calls me and asked how I was doing. She told me that she new I have been way too stressd out lately and needed a vacation. So today I got grounded from work. She told me I am out for the rest of the week. I am not allowed back until Monday.
Now this is very hard for me because I am a workaholic big time. My boss told the staff at my office that none of them are to call me at all. All calls are being directed to her. Vacations are very good. I suggest as many as you can get. Life is too short. We had a guy who worked long days and nights here for three years, and finally moved on to another job in Febuary.
A few months later he drowned in a Kayaking incident. Life is just too short to work that hard.
