Yay, finally got an episode 3!

Perfect Margarita from Derrick Schommer on Vimeo.

Finally, a third episode. I have two more sitting in the hands of one of my buddies, a real video editor...but he's just too damn busy to get back to me, so this one was recorded last and edited by my wife as she learns how to do all the cool tricks of Final Cut such as titling with graphics and such. Next, we'll animated the titling and, heh, perhaps put some credits at the end...

I was waiting for rock band to somehow get worked into the podcast. If you serve this drink to your friends playing Rock Band, they're sure to be impressed

Actually, we've all played rock band with a handful of these margaritas!

Okay: Question from the peanut gallery (I don't make drinks so bear with me).

The sweetener you used: where can I get it? Can you use something like honey in a pinch?

How much ice?

WTG! you should start your own husband/wife video website like Common Craft!

We're working on a business plan for such a thin Shashayla

As for how much ice, I fill the shaker, some will melt when it comes in contact with the liquids, just enough to add a bit of water to the mix.

You may be able to use honey, but, it might add a different taste that may change the tone of the drink. You could also add a bit of Orgeat Syrup if you want, but it will taste a little more "tropical" and probably would have its own name.

You can find Agave nectar, as well, in the honey isle of many grocery stores. You can find Partida Agave Nectar at Trader Joes I believe.
