Heading to Popcap on the 27th

Over the last few years I've established a fairly healthy relationship with Popcap and their folks. They've done us lots of great things over the years and they've got me on their attendance list for their big Bejeweled Twist launch party. They sent me some bejeweled cookies that were pretty neat as well to hype up the event. They really want me to go and cover the event so I'm doing a bit of a "tour" around the west coast next week.

I've got a sales conference for real work in Palm Springs from Tuesday to Sunday and, oddly enough, the Popcap launch party in Seattle is on Monday night so I'm going to re-route my plane to head up to WA for a day or so. While they're I'll be working under two names, one for my wifes website (casualgamerchick.com) and one for 2old2play.com. They want me there to represent the casual gamers and the older gamers, their two very core audience. Unfortunately, since I'm not working for an "official" publication I may also be freelancing for someone else in order to upgrade my credentials.

So, although you won't find me on the next two episodes of 2old2type, I'll be taking some photos, getting some information and hopefully some giveaway content from the launch party.

Have fun and ask if Bookworm Adventures is going to come to XBLA and see if a sequal will be coming out. One of my favorite game seriously. it helps me learn to spell and helps my daughter recognize letters.

Okay, I'll work on them to give me the inside scoop. Usually, when they do, it comes equipped with an Embargo date though

My daughter is a peggle zen master, but book work might be a good idea when she gets older (and can do a bit of reading)

My little girl turns 4 this weekend and might have to look into peggle and see if it would suit her.
I know on my mother side of the family they actually compete on bookworm adventures to see who can get the highest score. My mother was in the lead, but think one of my nephews is in the lead now.

VERY nice Code. Love Popcap. Played a couple of their games on the plane coming home.
