Oblivion Screenshots...

Since I first purchased Oblivion, my girl and I have been taking screenshots. At one point, I would start the game up and just run around to take screens, not even playing the game. I have submitted a few to planeteldersscrolls.gamespy.com and even made a couple of front pages. Many of my screens have been posted on the official Bethesda Message Boards but I figured I would try posting some of them here to gauge interest. I would have just made a thread in the Oblivion forum but since most people here who play Oblivion play it on the 360, I didn't know what kind of response I would get. So without further explanation:

This is my newest character Basho. He's a Tang Mo (monkey people) from the Island of Akavir. If you're unable to recognize this race, it's a mod based on TES Lore. I named him after a famous Samurai-turned-wandering poet from Japanese history. Below I have some screens titled with translated haiku from Master Matsuo Bashō.

"Another year is gone; and I still wear straw hat and straw sandal."

"Along this road goes no one; This autumn evening."

"It is deep autumn. My neighbor How does he live, I wonder."

"Traveling this high mountain trail, delighted by violets."

"Among moon gazers, at the ancient temple grounds. Not one beautiful face"

"From time to time; the clouds give rest. To the moon beholders..."

Nice. Looks like you have the mods that improve the landscape as well. Nice screens.

I didn't even know you could purchase Oblivion in any other format than the 360. It's beautiful.

Yes I have an LOD texture mod along with the character, clothes and player-home. All in all, I think I'm running about 22 mods with at least 15 more I have yet to install. I think I’m addicted to not only Oblivion, but the user-made mods for it as well. ;)

There is no reason why we shouldn't have mods on the 360. I want mods. Pics are badass...you should make this a regular thing. Like "The Adventures Of..." or something like that.

Awesome pics. I'm counting the days to when I can afford a 2nd computer, one that can handle Oblivion. I have Morrowind on the system I have now and I'm still designing new buildings, villages, and cave systems. My daughter has an entire storyline on the go with characters, houses, dungeons complete with custom dialogue for all her people. The minute I first popped Oblivion into the 360 all I could think of was how amazing the custom buildings I was going to design were going to look when I get this for the PC.

Hey gwarrior, if you make 'em, I'll download 'em... ;)
