Toddler Humour!

Okay: here goes

Erica says "Erica, would you like some yellow berries?"

Mom says "Erica, would you like some yellow berries?"

Erica: BLUE!"

Mom: "Oh! they are BLUE berries!"

That one never gets old. She calls my husband old when he does a somersault.  She can tell things that are the same "they are the YAME!" (she can't do esses). And we will sing songs, and she will purposfully say the wrong word. then say "NO! that's yilly" (as in that's silly).

Feeling better both mentally and physically. Dropping GF was a rough decision, but it was for the best. I feel like a weight is off my shoulders. They work so damn hard...

That you mention singing songs incorrectly is SO funny. I was at my sister's yesterday and her husband and her three year old were singing songs. They would start singing "Twinkle twinkle little" and he would say star and she would say moon and he would exclaim "MOON??? WHAT?? THAT'S CRAZY!!!" and she would laugh and laugh and laugh. And then they would do another song. It was SO cute! I'm really kicking myself for forgetting that my new phone does video also.....

My son just started singing "Twinkle, twinkle" it's freaking hilarious. I can't believe he remembers so many of the words. More than me.....

Our 4 year old has trouble with "k" at the beginning of words, which sound like "t". So, when I tell her to go into the kitchen with her stuffed cat and tell her mother to "shake her kitty", I usually end up sleeping on the couch.
