One Sentence stories
Found the site: it's where people post one sentence stories. The rules are: it has to be a real life event (not wishing this or that... but action) and it has to be one sentence. Yes, sentences can be very long when you get fancy, but it's not in the spirit of the exercise. So: here is my one sentence story about today:
The drudgery of voting was quickly forgotten as she watched her daughter's joy as little girl swung on the "big girl" swing for the first time.
I know that tehre are a lot of people who want to write, to be better writers. I would highly suggest that you give this sort of thing a shot. So: what did you do today? One Sentence!

I think yours is better; more succinct. But, my day was as long-winded as my sentence.
I haven't checked out the site yet, but it's a good exercise. I think I'll make it a daily habit. Thanks for the info.
