The real face of the war
I accidentally stumbled across this website while looking for some renders for photoshop. An image grabbed my attention so I opened it up and it took me to this website. At first it was like one of those deals with a car crash, you just can't look away.But then I actually read the comments and started getting pissed off. People saying that they hope we lose the Iraq war and things like that just to teach the US a lesson. I have friends in the military and us losing means they could very well die.
That pisses me off. If you don't like the fact that we're at war then FINE. Quite frankly I don't like it either, but I don't wish our own countrymen dead because of it!
Apparently according to the original article, US soldiers are submitting photo's of dead Iraqi's to a website so they can gain access to porn. This watchdog website is screaming foul according to the Geneva Convention.
Part of me agrees (if it's true) part of me understands that human's can be desensitized once they've seen enough of this type of violence so they might not have the respect for a corpse that they should.
This website has me very conflicted.

Oh so you mean when we shoot people over there they don't respawn? Or slowly fade into the scene like in all those other games? Well for once I disagree TANK. I think this should be shown to everyone. "Thinking about killing someone? Think someone else's live isn't worth the bullet you waste on them? How's about your loved ones see this, but only when it's you?" Maybe this is like the RED ASPHAULT that we all grew to love.

Well, I checked out the website that the soldiers are supposedly posting pics to and it isn't even a real website....just one of those 'search' websites. So, not sure if it's true or not....probably not. If it is true, then those that are doing it deserve to be court martialed.
