5 Days To Disney

Woke up this morning and turned on the news.  Everybody around us is out of school or on a delay because of the snow.  Not us.  Oh well.  One more day of bus duty and I am done for the year. 

 

Still haven't done any Christmas shopping.  I am the worlds worst at picking out gifts.  I hate it so much, it actually ends up putting me in a bad mood evey year.  Wish the wife would just say get me this or get me that.

Kids now a days seem to enjoy Universal Studios alot more than Disney. Well maybe boys. It has more cooler rides and much more recognizable characters from cartoons; Barney, Curios Geroge, The Simpsons, Shrek. I guess in our days the only cartoons were Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse, now you have Nickelodeon and Cartoon Channel with alot more variety.

Also Island of Adventure is the best place for grownups. The Hulk ride and Dueling Dragons are some of the best ride sin the US.

Disney should be fun for the kiddies, but as ekattan stated, Universal is better for older kids and adults. There is enough to do and see at Disney that everybody in your group should have a great time.

Looks like you are going to be coming down at a good time - the weather reports shows a cold front moving in in 5 days. Should be lows in the low-50s and highs in the upper-60s. T-shirts and shorts weather for you yanks.
