Music?

Does anyone really just listen to one type of music all the time?  I'm just curious to see how people answer.  I find it hard to listen to the same kind all the time due to most radio stations playing the same material due to it being popular.  So take a minute and just offer me insight on your listening preferences.  I tend to listen to my iPod more than anything, and it has a mixture from rock to rap to country.  Just depends on my mood.

I'm in the same boat as you. I've got all sorts on my iPod: Carlos Nakai, Mushroomhead, Merle Haggard, Slayer, Eros Ramazotti, Johnny Cash, Tupac, you name it. I even have playlists that are as diverse as the total list. Radio sucks...

I could see how someone might listen to only one type,in school and many years after I would ONLY listen to rock. That all. Way more diverisified now, listen to rock, classic rock, techno, speed metal, some punk but sometimes stuff like Chris Isaac, etc. Anymore I hardly pay attention to band or song names. If its to my liking.......I go with it!

I like almost all types, tech-no (not being real music) I don't like. I have a little bit of it all on my computer at work; Classical, Opera, Soft Rock, Hard Rock, Rap, R & B and Country. But I am a "fan" of the 80's...lol

I listen to alot of stuff except rap and country...can't stand those.

But on any day I can guarantee I'm listening to either some good metal or industrial techno.

Rammstein, Killswitch Engage, VNV Nation, Solitary Experiments, KMFDM, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Paul Okenfield, The Birthday Massacre, REM, Live, The Rolling Stones, Queen

All kinds of stuff.

I usually have my iPod playing/storing any song rated three stars and over. Blues, Rock, Alternative, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Goa/trance, Techno, Alt-Country, Classical are all in the mix.

Occasionally I'll get in a mood and play only Blues of any rating.

I have have pretty much been, and always will be about the metal. It's just my preferred music of choice... I can appreciate the fact that there are many talented individuals across a wide variety of genres, but they just don't do a whole lot for me.

I don't like radio, same stuff over and over, and they don't play the genres I like. I like softer punk and alternative, with a little rock thrown in. I love Flogging Molly, Muse, Taproot, Street Dogs, QOTSA, Amy Winehouse. I buy a lot of songs off of iTunes, less albums now though.
