World at War

These things aren't exactly in short supply, but I do have an extra Call of Duty: World at War beta token.

Which Frenchman was executed on October 15, 1945 for working with the Germans during WWII?

 

Answer - Pierre Laval.

Pierre felt that his execution was a crime of the state so he tried to take poison that was sewn into a jacket for several years before the firing squad could have at him. He didn't want the squad to be guility of killing him. However, the poison was so old it just made him sick and he was killed by firing squad after his stomach was pumped. (Go Wikipedia!).
