Stumbling bumbling

The fam and i have been having loads of fun playing rock band. one thing that i did notice though is that when i turn my wireless mic on to play cod4 and the hub for rock band is still plugged in my mic will not sync with the proper controller. calling 4myxbox on this did not help they played dumb thinking that i was out of warranty on my headset however i have had to buy more than one wireless headset and they never asked for the serial off this one. they only way i could remedy the problem was while on hold with xbox i started to turn on each individual controller (i have 5) try to sync and pull the battery if it failed until i found the original controller it was synced with prior to the rock band hub being plugged in. So word to the wise unplug the hub before turning on a controller or microsoft wireless headset.
Rock band is so much fun being able to game with the family is an activity that we have not done in a very long time. I think the last time was with mario cart 64.
The puppy hunt still continues we have been in contact with a couple different breeders and will be visiting two of them very shortly. I wish that there where an easier way to do this but after the last exercise in how not to select a breeder. better safe than sorry. okay thats all i have for now i'll post more in a bit
by the way has anyone seen dread knights on live he disappeared just wondering if everything is okay.

Looking for Redemption

Greetings Readers, As you know if you read the older entry our family is looking to get another basset hound. We have been doing more research and contacting a breeder that we have felt comfortable with, that has people that we can contact for references. We will more than likely go to visit the breeder that we selected at the start of february. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed this time. We really want this to be a smooth process for both the new pup and our dog Blake. When we visit, pick a dog and take photos i will post them so yall can see the little booger. On a side note our son in law made it here safely. we spent some time tonight with beer steaks and cod4. who would have thought that the ouch challenge would be so much fun. Don't get me wrong a noob tube is pretty sloppy but man does it piss timmy off when you keep killing him without an explosion. I also wanted to thank daredneck for the good games tonight. bummer we did not get to scrimmage tonight though. Talk at yall soon. SGT. Duff

damn crooked dog breeders

Greetings readers. I guess its about time i actually put something on here. Today was not a great day in paradise. i have been anxiously waiting for a puppy that our family had decided to buy. I guess i should backtrack a little bit. About 3 months ago our female basset hound Daisy was diagnosed with stage 4 canine lymphoma. Knowing that Daisy was not going to be with us very long we decided to start looking for a new female basset hound to keep our male basset hound Blake happy. We found a breeder who operates a website tnbasset.com and picked out the female puppy of the litter and placed a deposit on the dog. Daisy's lymphoma progressed very quickly and she left us on january 2nd. well short of when the puppy was going to be able to be weaned from its mother. the breeder kept us updated on a weekly bases of the pup sending us pics of her development. Having trouble finding a name that fit our soon to be pooch we reached out to friends and coworkers to help us with a name. After a family meeting last week we decided to name the lemon and white little girl Penelope or Penny for short. Then a dose of life kicked us right in the pants. We received an email from the breeder telling us that they have had a break in and the only thing taken was our little 6 week old puppy. Angie holt owner of the website and one of the breeders then goes on to tell us that dog theft is not taken seriously by her police department and there is nothing that they can do about it..........Wait a fickin minute here i know that this woman did not just tell me that someone broke into here house and only stole the one dog that she had taken a payment on and there was not a damn thing i could do about it. I was fuming it was like someone broke into my house. So I decided to call the breeders local police department and have a chat with a fraud detective. We had done as much as we could to try and protect our selves against people just like this even paying the deposit to the breeder thru pay pal to ensure a paper trail and that we would have the dog of our choice. The detective called the breeder since this was a small town he said that he will have a answer for me in a minute. After speaking to Angie about her ordeal the detective tells me that Angie stated she had had no break in but the dog that we paid for was no longer in her possesion. Angie at this time fires an email off to us teling us that we can pick from one of the other dogs in the litter or another female that was now 3 weeks old. Our family was taken advantage of by this breeder. The truth of what went down is more likely that this woman sold the dog that we had purchased from out under us for a higher cost to someone else. The detective advised Mrs. Holt to return our deposit to us or we would have the right to press charges for theft and he would have to arrest her. She returned our deposit promptly but it still feels like a kick in the balls. I hate dishonest money grubbing douche bags like this breeder. We will continue to look for a puppy however i doubt a deposit or waiting will be any part of the process in the future. pfffffffft SGT.Duff
