Damn Fast.

Took the Bus out yesterday.  The high was only about 50 degrees, so reaching highway speeds got a little chilly.  For those of you who arent aware of what a bus is...................................that is short for Hayabusa.  Its a sweet little motorcycle that Suzuki makes for people dumb enough to want to ride on two wheels really, really fast!  It will go from 0 to 60 in 2.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 185mph before the limit switch shuts her down.  The bike is a really aerodynamic crotch rocket.  Its my daily commuter(weather permitting), so I usually just take the back roads to work, but yesterday I needed to return a movie to a Blockbuster near where I work and then take the highway to an outlet mall to return a wireless gaming router that didnt work for me to Bestbuy.  Today the temp is supposed to be in the 50s again..........might have to venture out........................can I make up any excuses to go somewhere?  ;)

Snowboarding in Colorado

About 3 years ago my son(16) decided to start snowboarding.  Ive been skiing since I was 6 years old, but decided this would be a great time for me to learn as well.  For anyone contemplating the board, here is my advice.  Endure 3 full days of pain...........................and youll be hooked forever!  This past week Ive been in a Condo in Breckenridge Colorado and have been out boarding every day.  Its Spring skiing conditions, so the temp has been into the 30s and low 40s here at the base.  The snow has been fantastic and my legs are telling me that Im getting aged.  I celebrated my 44th birthday up here and there is nothing better than blasting down the hill past all of the young noobs on boards!!!!  Were packing up in an hour to head home, but my wife had such a good time that she wants to come back up for a day trip on Monday.  Hope my legs hold out!!!
