MSM elected Nobama
From May 2000 through June 2008 a total of 1,365 stories were logged about Nobama by MRC studying the main three networks.
NBC nightly news weighed in at 179 pro-Obama reports, 17 anti-Obama stories.
CBS evening news ran 156 pro-Obama reports, 21 anti-Obama stories.
ABC World News totaled 127 positive stories, 32 anti-Obama reports.
No doubt the MSM helped tremendously in giving him more favorable coverage thus helping him over the hump of Hillary.

Not another teen movie.........
As usual at work I checked the 2old4duty forums on 2o2p. I didn't try to post anything so turning on the xbox tonight I was kinda at a loss from the messages I had from Stang. So I got online and read up on all that's going down. I can see both sides of the story and things might have been done out of haste to a point on shutting down the forums, but I understand the emotions involved and can see why that was done.
I joined 2old4duty because of my love of Call of Duty, at the time I was playing COD3 and unbeknownst to me the clan was rolling COD2 because the majority thought 3 sucked. When COD4 came out my gaming with the clan members went up and I got to know a lot of them and we have some really great people in the clan that would give the shirts off their backs if a person needed one, Peepshow's might smell like pizza and pee, but he'd give it none the less. I joined 2o2p because I got sick of hearing timmies chirp in my ear all night not to mention I've been through other clan drama's with some pc games, so I was glad to have some older gamers to game with. I can't say I know a lot of people outside our clan, but seems like the community is solid with good people.
I will remain a member of the 2old2play community and participate on the site, as well as follow my clan/group/whatever of gamers I've been gaming COD4 with and continue there. I just hope that the new thing we're doing doesn't allow a bunch of knuckleheads in, we got Mass, and that's enough knuckleheads.
I'd like to say thank you to the 2old2play community and leaders who made gaming with older individuals possible, all the work, time and effort you've put, and still put into the community is much appreciated.
I'd like to also thank Stang, our overlords, and all the members that contribute to making this group of gamers the best I've ever gamed with. Thanks for all the work they do to keep our clan of friends tight knit and providing material to keep us all coming back for more.

My Company's new office policies
Below is the company I work for new office policies...
Dress Code:
1) You are advised to come to work dressed according to your salary.
2) If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we will assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise.
3) If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise.
4) If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.
Sick Days:
We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.
Personal Days:
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturdays & Sundays.
Bereavement Leave:
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend the funeral arrangements in your place. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.
Bathroom Breaks:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the 'Chronic Offenders' category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.
Lunch Break:
1) Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy.
2) Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.
3) Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
Thank you for your loyalty to our company. We are here to provide a positive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.
Ok, it's not really. but they are pretty humorous. ![]()

Are you kidding me?
From CNSNEWS: The city council of Hartford, Conn., has unanimously approved an ordinance that prohibits police and city employees from asking people about their immigration status. The ordinance would bar police from arresting or detaining any person on the sole grounds that immigration authorities had issued an administrative warrant for them. The mayor must sign it before it becomes law.
Starting in July 2007, New Haven, Conn., home of Yale University, began offering ID cards to all residents, including between 10,000-20,000 illegal immigrants. The measure was passed to allow illegal aliens to open bank accounts.
You have got to be kidding me. What part of ILLEGAL cannot be understood? Illegal, as in not lawful, as in against the law, as in breaking the law. Theres an old saying, "give somebody and inch and they will take a mile". Well, we got people taking more than the mile, they're taking the entire interstate on this immigration business.
I got no beef with people that want to immigrate to this country, I'm not a Native American, I hail from immigrants years and years ago. But by gosh, obey the law, do it legally and adapt to American society. Personally I'm all for shutting the borders down completely and letting no one new in until we get this sorted out. I'm all for making every single person in this country prove that they are an American citizen, or on the short path to being one. If your not, load'em up and ship'em out, then once that's all straightened out start parking American soldiers and weaponry at our borders with M1A1 Abrams tanks. You get one warning shot over the noggin and if your dumb enough to keep coming then you'll get what's coming. I wax a little bit fantastical here, but you get my point. How intelligent do you have to be to not realize we could have terrorists streaming across our borders with who knows what kind of weaponry, chemicals and such because we're so lax on border security? I'm no Einstein but I'm smart enough to figure that out.
Thankfully my child is not in school yet, but I do have a co-worker whose boy is in the 3rd grade. With the No Child Left Behind act, the entire class slows down to a snails pace in order to not leave the poor little immigrant child who barely speaks english behind. He's gone to the teacher, to the principal, to the school board only to have his crys of his childs education suffering falling upon deaf ears.
The great thing is (sarcasm) with either Hussein Obama or John Mclame we'll probably get comprehensive amensty granted to all illegals. Well, ain't that special.

Explaining the Cubs success
After much research and thought, I've determined the reason the Chicago Cubs are having such a stellar year. As of this post they are 44-17 at home in the Windy City, and 26-30 on the road. What is the explanation for such an extreme difference in the Home and Away records you may ask?
This year also marks our Presidential election, and it just so happens that a blowhard that has been involved in Chicago politics is running for the lands highest office. It's not coincidental that all the hot WINDY air he is blowing this year is carrying balls out of Wrigley at a swirling pace. Obama's windy comments have helped propel the Cubs to first place and could possibly carry them all the way to the World Series, much to the distaste of this life-long Cardinals fan.
