Update on the current state of Shutt....

I promised updates and here is the first. It is 3:19 am and I got about a week and a half of reading for one class caught up. I am now convinced that the Greek culture was a punch of perverted, impulsive, self-loving psychos. I am now officially sick of Humanities and the crap they are force feeding me. I don't care how cool Hamlet was.....HE WAS A FUCKING FIGMENT OF ANOTHER'S IMAGINATION!!!!!!! Sorry, that was preemptive for the next coming weeks of class. On the bright side, I love Illustrator. That is one fun program. For the record, doing this while I work makes the clock go so much quicker........<borat>NIIIIIIIICE!!!!! Great Success!!!!!!</borat>

The Streak Ends at 1...

I tried to keep the blog positive....I tried to be good......but I am back in the shit shoveling business. I am writing this blog to let everyone know that I will be off of Live for a while. I am really backed up on my school work and I need to catch up. Therefore, I am putting a ban on me playing games. The wonderful reason that I am behind? My little sister got admitted to rehab over the weekend for cocaine use and a few other things. She was stealing from my mom and step dad to fund this little habit since she never has a job.

Now, on to the part of the program where I tell you how I got screwed (like I always do) by the group of idiots I get to call my family. I get called about this situation on Sunday. I drive the 1.5 hours one way to get there at about 8pm. I help out. I drive home about 2am. I worry about my mom, step dad, sister....you know the whole deal. Tuesday I get a call and my mom stating that they have scheduled family counseling to help her and my family. She runs down the list of people who are going and I am not on the list. WTF!?!?!?!? (note: my sister's father is not on the list as well, but, this is my blog. If you want to hear about him, go to his blog dammit.)

How are you going to call me for help. Make me put my life on hold for the better part of 2.5 days and then not have me on the list for the once a week meetings to get this thing solved. My family often screws me over. That is well known as well as talked about in therapy. I am done with the fucking nut house that is my family. They have caused me nothing but pain and I must keep them at arms length. I need to focus on my life and stop helping them. They are going sink their own ship whether I am on it or not. I am done. I am tired of hurting. It is funny. I used to feel lonely because I didn't talk to my family. After this most recent wakeup call, I am feel happy that I they are that far away. I am going to focus on me and my wife. Fuck them and fuck the drama they create everyday. Good talk. I will see you out there once I can get back out there......

(Blogger's Notes: After speaking with my other sister she stated that the meetings were a joke and she had no clue why she was there. In addition to that my mother has continued to enable my sister's actions and she has not been to the amount of post-rehab meetings that she needed to attend. The above comments about my family are directed at those who continue to act like a bunch of class "A" assholes. If you are unsure if that means you, you are on the list. Thank you.)

Check this game out.

I know that everyone is buzzing about the impending release of Bioshock some of us are getting tunnel vision. However, due to the new work situation I picked up a DS game to kill some time. I grabbed Luminous Arc and I have to tell you guys it is good. It is a turn based RPG that does the hand held proud. The story is a little long winded at times but the battles are a blast. I am not going to kill you guys with a review. (Which I was thinking about doing) However, I will say this. If you like classic RPG in a turn based format, go get this game. Later.

The blog is back.

Well the new banner is up and I really didn't find the time yet to make a wallpaper for the blog. I guess I will just slap it on there when I get around to it. Right now I am having trouble learning some of the fun tricks that you can with Adobe Illustrator for my digital illustration class. It seems like a fun tool, I just need to get more familiar with it. I ended up getting an "A" in my image editing class despite me missing two weeks of work. Basically, I killed it when it came to the final project. The more that I get into the art side of things, the more happy I am that I left the programming side of the world. I don't think there is anything wrong with programming, I just don't that it is for me.

On the job front, I will be blogging more because I will be on the overnight shift for about two months. When it gets dead, I will try to post some thoughts here. This job is much better than my last one. Lazy Liberal might laugh at that but I am at a place where I don't have to worry about getting let go everyday. I did that at my last job and I ended up getting my walking papers because my old boss couldn't pay two of our salaries anymore. So, in short, I am in a much better place.

On the game front, I have been more active in the clan. I can't wait to get this fall really going with Halo3, NHL 08 (now with online leagues), and COD 4. This is should be a fun time for the old PPCers.

On the home front, things seem to be getting better. We have put our weapons down, so to speak, and getting the help we need. I am back on the meds and seeing the therapist and things are looking up.
