The sun wasn't even up

Wide awake at 4:30 this morning, I was waiting on the alarm to go off so I could start cooking the turkey. I think being in the kitchen cooking makes me a bit too happy lol I tried to go back to bed but I just couldn't, I was just too happy or something lol

My first nephew

I have been in Mississippi since 8 am Thursday morning. It was a fast drive to get to the hospital where my sister was in labor. The normal time for the drive is 3 1/2 - 4 hours, I made it in 2 1/2. It was a long hard labor for her but it was well worth it! My newphew's name is a mouth full Joseph Enrique Suazo-Schatzman. Below is a picture I took right b4 I left yesterday. I think he is the cutes little boy, but what aunt wouldn't say the same thing

Ouchie

This week we had a new bath tub installed...Wednesday night I went out on out back porch to clean the leaves off so the workers would have a clear path to the house. It was wet and raining, and I though I was being careful. I swept the first step down and stepped onto it, then I did the second step but the step down wasn't so safe. It was real slick and I went tumbling down hitting each of the 5 steps left on my way down. Luckily I didn’t break anything, just banged up my ankle, hip and shoulder. After two days of soaking in the hot tub followed by ice packs I am doing better. Below are two pictures taken yesterday on my cell phone, they look bad but they are better then two days ago.

Volcano

I finished the Volcano Tuesday morning around 1:45 am. I took my daughters to school yesterday, and they erupted them at afternoon break. My daughter said hers was the biggest in her class but someone in a diff class had one that was over 3 ft tall.

Uh What?

Since when did science projects become the parents responsibility? When I was in school we were not allowed to get outside help on ours. Last week my daughter brought home a set of papers telling parents they have to build a volcano and let the child help. And the children have to write a paragraph all about volcanoes. I haven’t done this since I was 14 (14 years ago), so I was little rusty on how to do it. I went online and found a few different ideas, and just sort of mixed them up to make ours. It’s not done yet, but once it is done I will take a picture of it to show you. It’s kind of fun, makes me feel like a kid again lol Smoke even helped out with crinkling up papers. Darth Cestual was going to help and provide some mini’s to make it look like the end of The Lord of the Rings, but we did it on a day he wasn’t available. I went with the paper mache siding, because it will be easier for an 8 year old to carry (I’m sure mom will end up carrying it into the class room anyway lol). Real rocks and dirt to make it look a little more realistic, I may even snip off some small bits of pine tree to go on it.

Bla bla

I am playing Rock Band 2 now, and I love it. I play on easy most of the time but I have done medium and I've even played two songs on hard, scorring an 80% and a 95%. I guess I keep playing on easy because I hate to see a bad score lol. I play the guitar, we don't have the drums or the microphone (that's ok, singing isn't for me). If anyone needs someone to play base guitar or regular guitar I'd be happy to help out!

Massage school is still going great, I have been offered a position with a girl from school. She graduates at the end of this month and she already has her shop set up an hour away from here. My daughter and I went there last weekend to help paint and get the shop set up.

I have now lost 20 pounds and 4 dress sizes, this diet is working great!

I will up date in a few more weeks to let you know more.

Caesar's Fault, Again!

Thanks to Caesar I was up 'till 1:30 am and had trouble falling asleep after I went to bed...Damn you Caesar!

Rome is such an awesome show it's hard to stop watching.

Other topic; I am still doing great in school, as of now I have the highest grades in the class. And I'm doing great in my clinicals too, they want me to get my student insurance early so they can start putting me with "real" clients and not just students.

Other topic; I am still doing good on my weight loss, as of today I have lost 17 pounds.

Yay

I started the HCG diet on Monday and I have so far lost 10 pounds (in 6 days, haven't weighed myself today). This thing is working good so far, I just hope I can keep it up and lose all the weight I need to. I will post again next weekend and let you know if I have lost anymore. At this rate I will hit my goal by mid November.

Night at the Fair

Last night I took my eight year old daughter and a friend of mines eight year old son to the fair. We live in a little town so the fair reflects out town, only 5 adult rides: Spider, Pharro, Scrambler, Zipper & Parasail. First one we did was the Spider and the boy got sick to his stomach but didn't vomit. So we went on to the Pharro (giant swing that looks like a boat), again he got sick. Then I let them run through the little kids maze called the fire house. Then they wanted to go on the Scrambler, he once again got ill to his stomach. I just knew before the night was over I would be covered in vomit, but I wasn't. After we got off the Scrambler I told Jay (my friends son) that he needed to take a rest, but insisted that he and my daughter go on it again with their friend from school so I let them. He was of course feeling real bad after that, so he and I sat out on the next ride while my daughter and the other kid went on the Zipper. They rode a few more rides and played a few more games before we headed home. As we were leaving this little blonde boy about 3 years old comes running up to me, he waves and says "Hey, will you come ride the Pharro with me"? It was so cute, but I told him I couldn't because I had to get my kid home. Lots of fun, no long lines because it's such a small town so that was nice.

I like rides, such as roller coasters and the fun ones like that. Favorite ride ever was at Six Flags over Texas. They strap you into this suit and hook a bungie cord to your back and you get to go flying like 200 feet in the air, I did that one when I was 17...I think. I also liked the Ejection Seat in Branson Mo, it was kinda like the other one I was talking about but instead of a suit you're put in a steal cage that is hooked up to bungie cords. I could go on and on but I will stop right there.

and...school again lol

This week was great, I gave 2 one hour massages and 1 hour and a half massage. I put all three of them to sleep, it was one girls first time to ever be put to sleep so I was proud of that lol. I've discovered that my arms are way to weak, and I need to build up the muscle in them. After years of being told I was too strong and I needed to watch my strength I guess I took it too far and spent too long trying not to have as much arm muscle. Now I get to work hard on re-building the arm muscle, this I'm sure will be a long hard process. I use to be able to do 100 push-ups without a problem, now...I don't know if I can do 5, but I am working on it.

As far as games go, I am taking a break from them for the most part. I might play on the weekedns but in the week it's all about school. No school today, just a full day of work. Maybe I won't be so tired I want to go to bed at 8 pm, I feel like a kid again. I can't even make myself stay up late in the week, it's just too hard and I need my rest!

Wore out from work & my first week of school. Thank God it's Friday! Time to relax, maybe have a drink, cook some steaks on the grill and watch Smoke play some GW2.

Day 2

School was also great today, but I am real tired now. I was given a massage today and then I gave 2 massages back to back and that drained me. It would have been a lot better if I had gotten some sort of break in between them. So far so good, first test is on Monday
