Billy Mays
I just stood there yesterday in Target looking at the "TV infomercial items" endcap and laughed as it just hit me seeing the same picture over and over. There he was the bearded scratchy-voiced guy whose face was on over half the products on the endcap. I just chuckled. This guy made himself the man when it comes to peddling tv products. Read his wikipedia entry and he certainly seems to be the true definition of a self-made success.

Check out this list of products he has been the spokesperson for. How many of these do you own?

Mirror's Edge is a great play
Wow, what a refreshing change of pace. Loved playing through the story and I look forward to going back and giving the time trials a go. And that song, it's on my brain and I can't shake it. I draw a lot of paralells to the game "portal" - it was a somewhat similar experience. Challenging levels you have to think through, some quick decisions, similar lead character (albeit spring legs and teleport device in portal
), and strangely enough the songs in both games have the same title "Still Alive." Running around outside on rooftops and getting into the story gives the sense of freedom in the game, although you do follow a pre-ordained path. It was the perfect balance for me and I truly enjoyed it. It's a great rental that has some staying power with some future DLC.
Anyway, if you haven't seen some of the trailers or gameplay, enjoy the video below, but be forewarned as it's the high quality feed and uber-sized.

1 week with Wii Fit
After using the Wii Fit for 1 week on a daily basis, let me just tell you...
It works, it's a blast, and I am *really* sore.
My whole family has had fun playing with wii fit, but my wife and I have worked it into our lives to help us
I absolutely love ryhtym boxing- so much so, I am considering joining this type of class.
Any of you out there playing wii fit, and if so, what are your thoughts and what are your favorite activities?

Bear Birthday!
35 years young. Yikes! It's a nostalgic day as I am finally getting a wii. Had the original NES with Robbie the Robot and the whole nine. What's funny is I don't really remember how I found out about it then. I mean Atari was dead and everyone seemed to think PCs were the only future for games. Had a C64 but man was I stoked for the NES. Those games were great!
Anyway, can't believe I am 35 today but I really look forward to opening it with the all 3 kids and seeing them share the excitement. I look forward to creating our miis and starting some epic battles for many years to come!
