My New 2o2p Site Idea

we wouldnt have to call it badges we could call it 2o2p achievements or whatever, but the idea i have had is this

you would unlock little badges for doing things around the site, like you basiacally have 3 for each thing you want members to be active in, this may be one way we get members more active and out of there shell. for example

1) there would be one for donating to the site 1 time, then 10 times, then say 50 or 100

2) one for 1 forum post, then 500, then say 10,000, this one could have 4 badges maybe for increments

3) then one for blogs, like 1 blog post, 100 blog posts, 1000 blog posts

4) submit one news article, submit 10 news articles, submit 100 news articles.

5) maybe have one for clan page posts and one for regular forum posts to get people into the main stream more.

6) maybe have one for posting x amount of comments in peoples blogs

7) maybe have one for posting comments to news articles

the amount of things you can link it to are endless,and so on, basically you could put this badge idea in there profile or something or there account page. i went ahead and did a mock up of just a basic idea of the layout. if ds and doodi like the idea and members i would totally be interested in desiging the buttons or icons for the badges if they wanted. this is a thought i had after listening to the podcast this morning.

My First Perfect on Expert

So last night i was determined to get the 500k achievment in guitar hero 3, so i was playing No More Sorrow on Expert to try and do this. My first shot at it i missed 14 notes out of 904, and i scored 430,000, and i only hit 6 out of 8 star powers. So i went and just played the song and didnt rock it up to see were all 8 were located, then i came up with a star power path to maximize my score. I used 3-2-3. and it worked. last night at midnight, i gave it one more shot. I nailed it, i perfected the song on expert! scored 508,000 and got all 8 star powers and all 904 notes and my 500k achievement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. im so excited right now. you have no idea. See the pictures i took below, i also included a short video for the non believers.

the last achievment i want to get for GH3 is the million co-op i have come close and got 997,000 with gridiron, so i need someone who can play expert

I want to join Profanity!

Its been about a yr since i was in a halo clan, ive been dropping hints to royal,white, drost, and malice about me wanting to rejoin them. I dont exactly know how that will all go down or if it is ok with the majority of the members, i guess if there are members though that wouldnt want me in and would leave if i did join then i would obviously not join because of that. I feel like i fit with the profanity image, ive been long time friends with a good number of the people in Profanity so to me it makes sense. Its time for me to find a home and honestly its the only place im interested in joining.

Got My Buttons

So i got my buttons for Megan yesterday , Jollys daughter. i put one on my cabinent at work and my wife wore one to her work today, she is a waitress so hopefuly a lot of people ask about the button and go to the website.

new wallpaper idea an gh3 stuff and mml

ok so today i have started modeling the ps3 controller, so far i have the original atari controller. i will be modeling the nes controller when i get dimensions from megatek. The plan right now is to model the ps3, nes and 360 controller then make a wallpaper similar to the one i made before. the atari one will plug into the text, the i will drape a couple of nes controllers over the text so it looks like they are hanging from the text, then i will throw the ps3 and 360 controllers in front of the text on the ground kinda like someone tossed a bunch done. the idea is that 2o2p doesnt just play one type of game or system, so that is the theme ill be working on for that wallpaper idea.

right now im working on adding images to my 3d cad models, for like the ps3 logo and x,o,triangle buttons. the ps3 controller is 50% done. the handles are going to take the longest. I should have it done this week though.

Gh3 im working on the 500k achievement, last night i played the 3 new dragon force songs on hard and was avg 4 stars at 96%. i played flanigans ball on hard and got 497,000, Im so close to getting the 500k achievement. ah, its one of the last few i want to get before gh4 comes out. Id like to try and get the million co-op achievement but man thats a tough one to get, ive come close with gridiron grace getteting 997,000  with both of us playing on expert.  Last night i also worked on my expert career and got to set 7, which i think may be as far as i get, set 7 is a straight up nightmare, so far ive only managed to pass one song. stricken, 3&7's knights of cydonia are almost ridiculous on expert to play.

the MML is still going strong right now, last night we played week 3 and all the games were played!, we only had 2 players out of 40 not show this week, so we had a good turn out. i will be spending some time today and tonight, getting the stats run, i already updated the player points and team points and standings and fa and fa points. i need to get next weeks gametypes up by tomorrow as well. lots to do this week.
