That time again

I guess its time for that quarterly update!  im in the process of buying a house.  It's a little further away from my job but the price on the house is 20 grand below its appraised value due to the owners trying to avoid a forclosure.  Sucks for them but works out great for me!  I started running again...well walking right now but its a start at least.  Im walking 5 miles then jogging the the last half a mile back home.  I never realized how out of shape I was til I tried getting back into it!   I recently started dating again, found a terrific woman who really makes me smile and always  brightens my day whenever I talk to her or see her.  I'm halfway through my withdrawls, snowboarding season is right around the corner!!  Something about this off season has me especially stoked, I dont know what it is but the snow needs to hurry up and fall. 

 

    and for any one that hasn't seen The Dark Knight, go see it asap! This is by far the best batman movie EVER.

Just a random update.

Seems like forever since my last blog/rant. Not too much has changed, still single and loving it. Im back to counting the months til I can go snowboarding again. I have gotten away from some negative people in my life which I think has helped me alot to look at the positive side of my life and not be depressed for no reason. I still can't get enough of that crack thats known as COD4...that might have something to do with 2o4D being one of the best clans around. I recently participated in a clan tourney and won my brackets qualifier! I was surprised that I won that round but now I have to play against some of the best people in our clan, im just happy that I made it this far. I'm really excited for GTA this afternoon, i got my copy already payed for, now to decide if I want to fork over another 20 bucks and pick up a strategy guide. I never buy the guide to games anymore but with the scale of GTA I just might. If anybody has picked it up, is it worth grabbing? Also May 17-18 im going to Rock on the Range! STP re-united after 7 years, Seether will be there as well which is my favorite band since Nirvana, aslo like 20+ others bands. I'll make sure to take pictures and post up for 2o2peeps here as well!

Can I has sno pleaz kthnk!

I love this time of the year!  Not because of the holidays(I tend to be a scrooge).  Its because this is the only time of the year that I get to enjoy my other hobby which is snowboarding.  I started a little while back and ever since then I have been hooked.  I watch the weather channel to see if anybody has any snow yet...for fun.  Hell I even strap on my board and practice lip tricks and jibs in my living room .  If you have never tried it, and are just the least bit curious id definitely recommend it!  Just dont expect to be the next Jake Burton or Shawn White right off the bat cause you will fall, A-LOT. 

Something about it being just you and the mountain seems so serene to me.  I can literally feel the tension drain from my shoulders as I carve up a mountain side.  When the mountain isn't packed (usually through the week) I can sit at the top of a slope and just stare out at the trails and be completely lost in my thoughts...and i'm perfectly content with that!  When your heading down trails and your concentrating on just your board is some of my most peaceful moments.

COD 4 Sucks!!

....cause its gonna cost me my job!  I cant seem to get to  bed at a decent time since this masterpiece came out.  Draggin my sorry butt into work and slackin can't be good for my job security.  Seriously though, I feel as if im cheatin on my beloved GOW with the new chick in town.  Sorry honey, i think im gonna have to divorce ya and run of with COD 4.  And being apart of one of the best clans makes this game that much more entertaining! 2old4Duty Roxs

F**K YOU!

The f*ckin ex had me sooo pissed off  that I couldn't see straight.  What the hell causes someone to make up totally ridiculous lies about someone to try to mess with them.  
   
    So this doesn't get too confusing i'll have to explain the "circle" of how we all know each other.  Back in 97' I started working at KFC during high school.  During this time is when I met my ex girlfriend, my current "friend" and her uncle worked their as well.  Yeah I know its fucked up.  I started dating my friend when we were in high school at this time, nothing too serious, just casual.  After my friend left KFC we stayed in touch for a little while but have not spoken to each other in about 4 years.  During that time I started falling for my ex and we ended up together for about 6 years.

     Well this march I moved out of my ex's house so that maybe we could try and work things out.  We started to get along a lot better but I hardly ever saw her, maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks and when I did see her it was usually no more than an hour and a half tops.  She always had something else to do or said that she was just too tired to see me.  I can understand that, but when she kept saying that she was going to see me and she would blow me off without even a phone call it kinda starts to hurt.  I talked to my ex and expressed how much she was starting to hurt me again but nothing changed so I decided that I was tired of getting hurt or led on so it was emotionally better for me that instead of fooling ourselves that we just would be friends. She said that is not what she wanted to I decided to stick it out but in all reality we have been separated since about June, even though I still referred to her as my girlfriend.  Just seemed easier that way.   She was clear on the fact that we weren't together sometimes then other times she would call me her boyfriend. I was so confused (still am)

    Fast forward to October.  I went into Wal-Greens and I ran into my old friend from KFC again.  We started talking and decided to go out a grab a bite to eat to catch up on old times.  Well we actually hit it off and started to talk to each other for the past few weeks.   More than casual but not that serious....yet.  My friends uncle went up to where my ex works and was asking her for a job or whatever they were talking about (his niece and I were apparently one of the topics of their conversation).  My ex shows up at my door late Monday night crying cause i've been talking to someone else.  I asked her why she was so upset since we were just talking and that she hadnt talked to me in a while and obviously their was little to no chance of us getting back together.  She didn't answer me just kept crying then left.  Last night my friend stopped by to hang out, and she asked me some really weird questions.  Apparently my ex had told her uncle that SHE kicked me out (lie #1), because we got into a fight and I kicked her and stabbed her in the back (lie #2,3).  And no she didn't mean metaphorically either.  My ex then proceeded to say that she took her key back from me and that I went and had a spare made and I walked in on her with someone (lie #4,5). Also I choked her so bad that I left bruises on her neck (lie #6) I was so livid that I literally could not see straight.  I had always heard that saying but I did not think it was possible till last night.  

    Why the hell would she try to hurt me like that, I know that it shouldn't get to me but I have always had a problem with someone lieing about me.  I am very honest, most of the time too honest.  If I ever did something I always fess up to it, no use in trying to weasel your way out of it, cause your gonna get caught eventually and then matters are always worse.  But that was just spiteful, cause deep down she and I both know that I treated her like my princess cause that's what she was to me. 


Fuck it, I quit
